y dont people do research before they comment! i'm not wrong, i'm not guessing. and it was the 1980's f1 i'm not talking about modern times.

You are right, there were different enginespecs. Some were highcomp some low. Honda used high as seen on this link. There are other engines on this site also, 7:1 - hondas 9.4:1 But the most of them were in the 7.5:1 area.
