Sorry mate, I think my mrs did take some but we have been flat out with work and trackdays etc and im not even sure if they are still on the SD card as I wiped a load of them blank in a hurry to use on the couple of trackdays we have been at since the last meet.

Guys, can anyone attending manually adjust my clutch cable?
Its a Rear wheel drive Escort Cosworth running full 2wd sierra running gear. Typical auto adjust is not working and its hard to get into first gear when the engine is running. Been told this could be the clutch cable needing tightening up. I have tried to do this on the pedal but cannot get it to budge. Been told it can be done under the car with a pry bar and some spanners? Any ideas?

I will be honest with you, I have no idea I have been told it can be pulled back under the car with a pry bar, undone, pulled tight and done back up. Then release the pry bar. Only down side for me is I have no ramps and limited tools. I asked a mate but because its a cosworth he kind of coward away from it

This is what I was told
Adjust it manually
Jack up the front of the car
Get someone to sit in the drivers seat
Get underneath with a pry bar
Get the person in the car to depress the clutch
Wedge the bar behind the clutch arm to stop it going back
Get the person in the car to SLOWLY let the pedal up until you hear a clicking noise. Let it click about 2 or 3 times.
Check the clutch now and if the pedal is still too low repeat the above until your happy!
Don't do too much at a time or youmay over adjust it!!

Yeah sounds good mate. Never done anything like this but with 20 or so ford nuts in one place I am sure someone can point me in the right direction. I will let you know if anything changes

wont be out of place, think that is the sort of car most people want to see,
i went in my car and dont think there was anything else there with and ST badge on it or even anything made in the same decade, not saying thats a bad thing either lol

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
Can't believe this is the first time i've looked in the South West section.
Typical that I find a meet in Taunton now, I used to live there!
I'm in Gillingham, north Dorset now, still not too far away.
I'm probably off to the DAFT show @ Sammy Millers on Sunday.
Depending how things go, I might head to Taunton for the evening.
