I'm about 2 miles from there and the sun is out, had nearly forgotten what it looked like
Doesn't look like I've got anything on later so I'll probably go and dig the sunny out of its hole in a bit and bring it out for a drive

Hope the meet's going well? I'm now sat in work fuming as one of the mill guys didn't show for his shift and I'm now in here trying to run the place for the night team
Was looking forward to the meet, car is shiny, sun's still out and I'm working.
Lots of pics please folks

Was really looking forward to going, polished the car then got in ready to leave and noticed the battery light on, opened the bonnet to see no alternator belt!, not happy!, was gutted to miss the convoy up/first meet :-(

My mrs got some pics, will get them off her tonight as she is in work today
Fantastic turnout, thank you everyone for coming along and making the first meet such a success.
Hope to see you all again next month
Next time we will meet in the hotel section of the car park instead though (where some of the later arrivals ended up) and longer term we'll have a think about other possible locations as there wasn't really enough space for us all at the pub. Apologies for that, it was busier at the pub than I anticipated.
Fantastic to see such variety of cars and also such variety in where everyone was from including:
Exeter
Torquay
Barnstaple
Bournemouth
Bristol
Taunton
Yeovil
Wellington

great turn out last night, didn't expect so many there!
Shame I couldn't open my bonnet but the cable keeps coming off and I definatley wasnt going to lie on the floor and open it with a crow bar :/
Looking forward to the next meet though when my car is mapped helpfully!

So what kind of mods etc are we all running? Maybe a pic of the car that was at the show and a little list or a BHP figure. Some serious sleepers that turned up... one being the TURBO'ed Clio Sport! Bet that was a handful

Booner, good idea, what would be great is if when I post all the pics up people reply and say which car is theirs (I lost track of who owned what and who was which username as there were so many people I havent met before) and what they have done to it.
The Clio turbo was driven by my mrs and I was in the standard silver one, the turbo one is 258bhp and yes it is a bit of a handful
This is a video of Porkie following me in it at combe, check out the massive sideways moment halfway through, was pretty scarey
Thankfully though, I have improved the handling dramatically since then, so although still a bit of a handful, its a lot more predicatable now than it was then!
