Can help this is driving me mad
Has anyone got any measurements for marking out on the bolkhead the place where to cut the hole for the clutch master cylinder the kit I bought was from reyland and the information they sent me are somewhat vague ????????

have you drilled the pedal yet?

 

No not yet put I got the pedal measurement from your restoration thread but could not see anything about the hole in the bolkhead
and can I also say what you are doing is top class and good to see

drill the pedal first,then lift the clutch pedal so its level with the other two.
use a small spirit level hold it on the side of the pedal through the centre of the hole youve just drilled and mark the bulkhead,then measure half the thickness of the pedal (cant remember the size now)from the mark on the bulkhead that will give you centre of the pedal.
drill that hole for the rod to go through then you can mark and drill for the retaining bolts.
hope it makes sense 😆

 

That is the best way to do it to keep the position of the clutch pedal in line with the brake pedal.


My clutch pedal lines up nicely.



Master cylinder also looks neat and tidy.

what do you mean buy measure half the pedal???

you idealy need the rod in the center of the pedal,so say the pedal where you drilled the hole is 30mm wide measure 15mm along from the mark you put on the bulkhead.
