right guys here are the results from the day really good day was had met alot of new faces defo another one going ahead in summer so watch this space

john - sierra sapphire cosworth 468bhp 397lb/ft
graham - sierra sapphire cosworth 293bhp 319lb/ft
glenn - r5 gt turbo 260bhp/220lb/ft (without nos) 285bhp 327lb/ft with nos (clutch slipping @28psi)
grant - r5 gt turbo 184bhp 184lb/ft (backed off at 5k as leaning out ran at 17psi)
blunty - r5 gt turbo 178bhp 177lb/ft (backed off at 5.8k leaning out ran at 19psi on a shot carb)
sam - honda civic jordan 168bhp 114lb/ft
tony - r5 gt turbo 161bhp 167lb/ft (leaning out)
eddie - clio trophy 161bhp 153lb/ft ( mega rich fuelling)
ranj - r5 gt turbo 145bhp 148lb/ft
roy - r5 gt turbo 119bhp 156lb/ft (leaning out)
chris - ford orion 93bhp 108lb/ft
oliver - r5 gt turbo 88bhp 111lb/ft (leaning out)

john will tell you the reason why it didnt make more power up top i cant remember off top my head lol, i think chris needs do a compression test etc might be time for a rebuild or for a 2.0 zetec ??

it was a good day, bit dissapointed i didnt quite break 300 but the only run the clutch held on, it missfired slightly right at the peak of the graph.
new clutch and t34 now

best graph off the day was a renault5 with nos. it went from 80bhp to nearly 300. the power line on thr graph was nearly vertical.

am going try get hold of the graph for that one fella it would of made 400+ if clutch wasnt slipping that car runs 11.2 sec 1/4 miles not bad for a 1.4 8v turbo eh

if you guys wanna add your graphs on here that would be cool

i think you would of hit 300 mate with a decent clutch in there, all in all though a good result

my graph as you can see only ran to 5800rpm as it was fuelling all over the place



grants graph again 5300rpm due to fuelling leaning out

Red run was the first, blue second.
you can see how it was missing slightly top end on the first run, presumably just plugs, and the second run when it had cleared itself up, and was making a touch more, the clutch died
still cant get it to slip on the road, and trust me, ive tried wont be long until it gives up though.
will get an alcon 6 paddle ordered in the morning, along with gearbox, diff and engine mounts.

Dunno why mine was so down on power??? feels ok on the road???

Still cant understand why it peaked at 5357rpm, didn't once hear it hit the limiter
