In which case I guess its a car transporter?

Especially as I know that commerical type vehicles seem to particuarly excite you!

Yep Exige S

I pick it up tonight. Really low mileage 2008 one. properly loaded up with Performance pack, sports pack amd touring pack. even got he uber cool forged wheels and 3k pearl white paint

will be perfect for Ring trips and a reserve track car for when its too wet for when Westy is bit too much or I cant be bothered to Trailer it or drive it there.

crap pics from the seller. Will take some better ones tonight or weekend

I wont be at Bedford. but if weather looks too poo for his Westy I imagine Stu will no doubt steal it off me!!!

Have a drive mate and see what you think if you like. Should be alot of fun and virtually trouble free I hope

Its a very light, has big Ap brakes, understressed engine, is Factory standard, low mileage car with a warrenty! AND is designed as trackcar! SURELY thats the correct recipe for endless all day hassle free lapping????

Will definately do that mate, thanks

Absolutely agree, obviously its still going to require basic maintainance but those engines are so reliable, and all the other parts are simple to work on and designed for the job that it should be simple for you (well Stu ) to keep it in tip-top condition and just abuse the hell out of it whenver you want.
Just dont get tempted to start supercharging it or something like that if utter reliability is the main focus of it!

Seems like a good replacement for the clio rather than the westy really if anything as cant imagine when you would pick to use the clio now when you have this to use intead!

Its supercharged already you plank

as standard! Thats what the S stands for

I see Lotus Exiges are not your area of expertise Chip

Clio will be rebuilt and totally BONED and become a proper hardcore trackcar and beginners racecar I think now. Get the engine properly up to 240bhp naturally aspirated with some rods and pistons, cams and headwork and get weight down to nothing!

Spikys Pug is in my Clio's target sights

And luckily for Stu... Seans company JSRacing will be looking after the Lotus!

I see humour isnt yours mate
(was getting at that you should have bought the N/A version for reliability)

Sounds like a plan, any idea when its likely to happen?

Should be a good match for my new one which will be out next season as well, i'll have a little more power but also a little more weight.

Morris is also in a similar FWD sort of ballpark too, so would be good to get a few of us out in such similar machinery performance wise for a bit of a battle

Will you be able to run full boost (not sure what your exhaust is like these days) or will you be having to keep it turned down?

Not that it matters much when you can hit 150mph on LOW boost on the main straight

wonder if sporting Index are making a market on total number of laps completed by the Gaybird mobile? 7-12 would seem like a good market....

I would be a HUGE seller FYI

Steve

About 12 hours

just got off the phone to Sean

ordering 3 way adjustable Ohlins suspension

Will get engine remapped to 260cup spec as well.

going back to standard exhaust though. The performance one on it is boomy and horrible!

in fact... felt NO love for it last night

was horrible.

but it was dark and wet and foggy and cold and I was tired...

hoping will be better in the sun and heat and light!
