Default pf track day

I was driving the grey rs turbo with both headlights removed.
I had a good day enjoyed racing cossymax cortina we had a good battle going on couldn,t believe it when you spun in front of me going down padock hill just glad there was no harm done, that is a cool car.
I spent some time chasing ronie amos around as well was never gone match you for speed up the straights but was trying to make up for it through the corners it was good fun trying.
It was good to see some top feature cars being used like they should
mk fiesta and cliff s1 your cars were looking good.

Yes ronnie that was me
Apparently according to some one watching it was lifting the rear wheel through surtees. he came over to us at the end to see what tyres i was using and said he had been watching me going through that corner waiting to see if i would lose it ! then added he was glad i didn,t.
Did you have good day you seemed to be out on track alot which is always a good sign

I live opposite Dane park close to the centre of margate. Lydden is abit like Brands can be hard on engine and tyre temps
in the summer having said that the last day i did there a black 3dr was out in the experts session and was proper flying. You will have to come down and give it a go next year
Grey rs cheers you was going well to 888 all the way for me to
your car looks mint came to have a chat at lunch but didn,t know whos
car it was My other half was going to drive as well but decided not to partly because i had some clutch issues in the morning which ment doing whole circuite in 4th gear until i sorted it. she didnt feel that confidant out there with all the fast cars either.[/quote]

Was trying to be kind on the gearbox in mine, as it was due to go to bruntingthorpe 2 days after
Your missus might like the Bedford trackday, if your going to that one in Feb, quite flat and open

Car was looking very nice. You must have done quite a few track days now.

Think I need to harden up my coilovers as the arches were still rubbing a little.

Thank you Done a fair few this year along, car has only been finished since August - done 5 up to now this year, ND, Croft, Dono, Brands and Brunters, cars only had to have an oil change so far .. and water temp defi ripped out

I know pretty much nothing about the suspension set up lol - it hadn't been adjusted til brands, just had harder springs put on the back to stop the arches catching. Ding thought it might suit it more to set the dampers a bit harder for brands and it was better
