Had a great day - Thanks to Performance Ford - very well organised day
drove the car down there from Stockport and stayed in the hotel by the circuit last night
Met up with Redkop and AndyRS for a few beers, bit later Dangerous and Martin joined us
Charlie Shaw and Andy gallaghers group came to the hotel prepared and set up their own decks and speakers in the bar we were later moved on into the reception - so took the par-r-rty to their room Top guys
Didn't really get to grips with the track til after lunch but really enjoyed it once i'd got some heat in the toyo's
Took the corner after paddock hill (druids is it?) wrong nearly every time lol kept turning in too soon
Dead proud of the car, driven there, full day on track, driven home and ready to go to brunters on Thursday - no probs
Big Thank you to Charlie Shaw for taking me out in the Focus, we had a little trip in the kitty litter but was awesome before that, very very quick
Thanks to Dangerous as well for taking me out for a few laps, cool car and well driven
Went out in Dingy's in the afternoon, waited til he'd bedded his new slicks in a bit and was getting to know the track - was getting faster and faster and thought it was a good idea we came in when we did, was getting carried away - it's fooking quick pal!
Thought it was great to have loads of old skool cars on track - they made the day for me
And Wildheart i wasn't letting you past hence why i hammered you after the next bend

Hi guys,
I had a good time too, filming for Performance Ford for their future DVD.....
First time driving at Brands, although I have filmed others here many times. Good little circuit, especially for my baby Caterham (only a 1400).
Had a great battle with Danger in his Reyland, and then with Dave in his Fiesta, must have been chasing round for 20 minutes or more.
The Fiesta on slicks was really well matched for me on my R888s, and we were both driving about as fast as we could. The oil that had been dropped near the entry to the pits made that corner particularly hairy in the afternoon!
Dangerous in his Escort was sooooo much quicker than me on the straights, meaning I had to brake and corner as hard as I dared to reel him in. Considering how different our two cars are it was interesting to get such similar lap times. On the full GP circuit their is no doubt his extra power and traction would have left me behind. Really enjoyed it mate
I didn't enjoy the drive back home in the dark with a noisy, open topped car, wearing thermals and still bloody freezing!
Only got a brief chance to see footage at the track, but what we were able to get looks good. Watch out for that cover DVD.....
Cheers, Dave

Did you get much footage of my Mk3 Escort Series One Turbo.
Would love to see a clip of it

Hi, pm replied to mate.
All the footage is with Dave now, and will probably be kept under wraps until the DVD, so not 100% who is on the footage. It was 99% onboard stuff, so you may be in it when passing me/being passed
