Carbon plans are in the pipeline too mate, need to get it running again though before that comes into the equation though. Hows the track beast?

Really really want to mate, appreciate the thought of the invite too.
Jimbo is pushing me too I really cant though this weekend I MUST get on with the Fiesta as time is flying + ive arranged for people to come round and sort things on S1.

If we can get all the peeps to agree that Jimbo said then im sure we can set a date in stone soon for us all. Afterall Winter is boring as shit and its only just starting.

Decided to change the interior door panels and finish them off as the carbon card does not follow the curve of the door and ends to leave a gap between window and card.

I have trimmed a standard door card down and removed the material to fill in this area

These will then be flocked this week by Raj @ AUTOFLOCK and then fitted to finish off the interior door panels, as i was not happy with them.

These once flocked will fit on the top of the door

That should look spot on with the combination of the main carbon panel and then trimmed off with the flocked bit at the top.

Looking forward to seeing how that comes out.

As always it looks like you have just the right blend of practical in terms of a lightweight trackday car and still being cosmetically pleasing

Agreed. The way you make that special blend of practical, lightweight and cosmeticly erotic is amazing.

Just like your choice of footwear makes the most of your slender feet.

COCHYN - Prrrrrrrrrck!!!!

In the words of Sir Cartman!

People with red hair, freckles, and pale skin - are disgusting and are inherently evil, have no souls, and are unable to walk around during the day because of this...
Least the clocks have changed you get an extra hour of outdoor play!

Love you back???
mmmm only if you send me a high res image of your FRS parked next to mine at Santa Pod on Central Day.

Received a mail from Raj @ AUTOFLOCK last night saying he had received the door cards and that he had already started them!!!

However slight issue in that where the card had cracked and split in places and my poor attempt at resurrecting , would need to be rectified.

The areas in question have been repaired and will shortly be coated ready for flocking.

TOP JOB Raj – Many thanks for your patience and time.

No mega update as yet im afraid on the new build.
Car is at JKM awaiting the fabricaton of the exhaust manifold / external wastegate and the longest ever list of other jobs.

HOWEVER nothing shy of a miracle arrived today which lifted my spirits.
RAJ from AUTOFLOCK sorted the cards in between moving to a larger unit...

Now I have had some parts flocked in the past by 2 seperate companies and nothing comes anywhere near as good a finish as this from AUTOFLOCK Will be most certainly using again and also have some plans for carbon front end.

Pictures dont really show the quality but No bald patches and a real smooth even coverage and perfect along all edges.
Cant wait to get them fitted on the doors.
