Sorry BOV = Dump Valve.
It's Sam, used to ride (well, watch!!) with you and Dan, Darville, etc. That was going back quite a few years now. I used to speak to Ben (with the 2.0 16v White Nova) and remember him telling me your car got done in that flood ages ago Devistating I bet. See much of Damien Shawyer? Still building mad novas?
Anglia, old school, nice

Hey my ears are burning ! yeah sweden was a real cool place, suffering now from a few late nights mind, they have some great roads overthere too even if they do drive on the wrong side, very confusing !, with much punching of the door involved while trying to change gear
Your motors looking Sweet as ever dude, when are we all going to see these much promised pics then ??

Today sees the arrival of the pro alloy radiator i ordered which turned up after only about 15 hours from ordering it
I have the s1 escort rad which just fits perfectly into the front of a mk 3 fiesta with 5mm spare at either end - but you need to have a front mounted intercooler and make some brackets etc to secure properly.
Hopefully it will be all in and running for national day where the car will be on display for the first time this year all though not 100% complete but as near as finshed. pICTURES to follow big cheer to Pro alloy its looks mustard..

update
Well although a long break from this post , lots of things have been going on.
I finally found a full set of side mouldings which are prety hard to get hold of now.
Unfortunalty though an awesome track day at Castle combe saw the wind rip the passenger side moulding off and then an ontourage of cars mangled it to death. mmmmm still hunting for one 2 months on .
It was the first tim ei had the car on the track and although only running 150 ish brake it kicked some ass on the track. The power to weight ratio really helps and the handling is spot on as are the brakes i was making up alot tof ground on my cornering and braking capaibilities (the cars).
The car is now at the tuners having Emerald engine management fitted along with bosch greens and 3 bar map sensor. then set up on there new dyno dynamics rollers. From what i have read up on these rollers they are pretty much the don of all rollers and always give out a true bhp figure and within 1-2bhp run after run. So i hope to see a true figure.
So far the car has been run as standard as it was dleiverd to them this made 156 bhp @7psi which was on standard engine management.
On saturday i went along to jkm motorservices and watched while they continued to map - as i left saturday it was hitting 16psi @ 200.8. with a really healthy power curve.
Today i believe it is being mapped further and im hoping the 230 ish mark will be hit.
Unfortunalty down to my own lack of knowledge the standard rods are only safe to 240 so i have to reserve the power to that figure.
I shall keep you all posted and let you know the outcome

Well i have long been planning a zetec turbo engine for the car but to begin with i purchased a brand new cvh from Specialsed engines and have stuck with that for now. With it all set up and running on Emerald management and just over 220bhp it is superb.
With that engine now set up and the next step for it being stel bottom end i feel it is possibly a waste to spend that sort of money on a cvh when the car is originaly a rs1800 and should have a zetec 16v bolted in.
So i have purchased a 2.0litre engine and head of a very good friend of mine Russell and have begun to spec up the parts i need with the help of the legend himself Austen.
I am going to be building it over the spring/summer with the intentions of fitting it all over next autumn/winter ready for 2008. I shall do my best to show all stages of this build.

Parts purchased
Track day at Castle coombe wicked day and showed a few cars up too, apart from a seriously tuned Porsche gt3.mmmm zetec power is needed.
Well after a few days of surfing the web i have begun the fun part of building the engine - handing over some reddies.
Today i bought a new cnc alloy inlet flange for the zetec head so i can begin with the fabrication of the inlet manifold it self.
Also managed to find a billet alloy fuel rail for the same manifold i will fabricate. More bits to post up soon.....
