A short up date, fitted all brake pipes,fuel lines along with new clips and gear selector.Just waiting for polybushes before suspension goes on.

Grey 1s are the best m8, doing my chassis rails at the mo, well was but its just 2 bloody cold at the mo, tink im gona paint under it as well, is that silver hammerite youve used on urs??

Cheers guys,the colour underneath is hammerite hammered grey.The closest i could get to mercury grey.It,s a pretty good match.

These arrived in the post today.Polybushes and focus rs brembo calipers.Will fit bushes the weekend.Will also paint calipers red to match the rears,but need adapter bracket before fitting.

Removed and binned wing liners as they were cracked and the previous owner cut a section out to stop tyre scrub on full lock(different wheels back then)Arches dont look too bad,will just remove loose bits of surface rust then paint with hammerite.

Ended up here after ringing FORD and them quoting me Ł60 + vat for front wing liners.If i were going concours then i,d buy them,but i,m just going for a freshen up ,so good second hand ones will do.
