Last ever mod to do on my car .
Change the rear springs for standard ones as the 25mm lowered one,s seem to sit lower than the fronts and looks a bit odd.
Got hold of some standard RS TURBO rear springs.
Then took the old springs off and tried the standard springs.
Took the springs to work and sanded the surface rust of them.
Then prepped them with ACID ETCH and QUICK FILL PRIMER.
All prepped and ready for paint.
Will be painted red to match the the front springs tommorrow.Then fitted and cleaned ready for sale this weekend.
Might have one last burn in it before it goes.

Got the springs painted today at work.4 coats of radiant red then baked in the oven for 45 minutes.
Compared to the old one,s.Not a bad match.

Well that,s it for me and this car.It,s been 7 years of ownership and a lot of time & money.This is how i always wanted the car to be and it,s ironic that when i reached my goal ,i decided to sell.
Car is now for sale in the FOR SALE section.
Will be a very sad day indeed when she finally goes.Just hope it,s quick and painless.

Well it,s been for sale now for a week and still no one wants it.
Have been offered silly p/x,s but no decent offers.
Think i might BREAK IT,as i can get the money that i want if i do that.
Just wanted it to stay in one piece.

Well,this is the last post i will make on this car as i SOLD it yesterday after 7 years of ownership
Went to a nice chap off here so has gone to a good home.
Am gutted but know i've done the right thing,or so i keep telling myself.
Will be back next year with a SERIES 1 RESTO (i hope)

i got the car and its a credit to all steves hard work and time. in the time i have had the car i have had only one problem with the car but no one is to blame i mean i done 300 miles home with no probs went out then the oil light come on i stoped it stright away and got a tow to my workshop the oil pump packed up fitted a new one and all is fine
