Doing most of it myself.

When you see the software you will see how easy it really is (i'll post the pics soon)

Although saying that i don't have all the instruments to test everything so the final mapping will be left down to Stu@ M Developments.

Totally gobsmacked!!
Thats genius work m8y, you could eat your dinner off that shell! You prop allready have! Inspired me (and others) to go and restore a S2 to its former glory.
Seats are amazing quality too You send the retrimming firm your old seats so they could make the leathers 4 you?
Lovely look, and will be out of this world when youve finished it
I hope youre not literally gonna fill the engine with water though!

Finally started the car up yesterday.

Considering its whole management system is new the bloody car started first flick of the switch.

Was grinning like a cheshire cat.

Was running really rich though coz the MAP sensor was dissconnected.

Will get that sorted out and hopefully will have the car back together in no time.

Well, it seems like its taking forever, but slowly and surely i'm getting it all done.

I think Ford Fair will have to be missed but national day here i come.

A few more photos.

Very little visual progress but any progress is good progress.

Let the wiring begin, all the sensors in the engine bar are done. All i had to do next was connect it all inside the car.

3 new power relays, 1 lights on warning buzer and 1 interior light timer, all bolted to the back of the centre console.

What a mess

Once all those wires were cut to length and all connection made it was time to turn the ignition on and connect the lap top........ ITS WORKING.

ECU will live in the clove box, coz its too big to go anywhere else.

And finally the image all you boys will only ever see.........

The

Back end

Keep the comments coming lads.

Thanks for looking

Matt.

Whats what all about??

I got them from www.vehiclewiringproducts.co.uk
only about £5 each.
I've had to disconnect the interior light timer as it plays about with the alarm, coz the alarm has a interior light timer and turn on when disarmed function.
But the buzer is great, more of a miny siren.

I will be at National Day but i'm booked into do a rolling road shout out the day before just up past milton Keynes so had planned to stay up.
But if for some reason i don't go i will defo convoy up with you lads.
Might ask a few others to tag along if thats the case as i normally go up with a few others (1 turbo, 2 orion turbo)

Well, seeing as you've written "ALS" on the masking tape , i guess its some kind of vavle for the Anti Lag ??? (I can't remember the name of the valve )

Looking good mate, top work from your dad on that piping

Bugger didn't notice that

Yeah correct one is the Idle speed control valve and the other is the anti lag valve.

Its basically a valve that when activated opens up.
So although you have closed throttle its allowing air to bypass, at the same time it actives the ECU massivly retards the ignition causing backfire and hence the anti lag.

matt, do you use h.i.c insurance mate,as ive just been speaking to the bloke who does agreed values ,and had a little dissagreement with him about a few things,he mentioned someone with a spec like yours, and how you feel the same as me, he didnt give anything away. about you or your car, that was secret and gave details away, but he mentioned a shit hot "white ZVH, AND HOW CARS USED TO BE VALUED BY HIGHWAY.and how there valued now, on the resale value, not what the custoimer thinks its worth, just had to haggle to get mine up another 1.5k, .it worked though, so im a bit happier . but not realy happy

ps, your cars looking brilliant,i love the brakes and all the little touches you have done, it makes it "special", mine was fitted all up ages ago , ive just spent 7 weeks sorting all the little problems out, finaly, frustrating ,but worth the wait,

so im going to go out in a bit and take some updated pics,

No mate i'm not insured with them.

Did ring for a quote a few months ago and got refused dou to the spec.
I wanted an agreed value but it was to much for there underwriters.

Quick update for you guys,

In the last week i've brought a T34 turbo which should turn up on Tuesday 10th August and i've got a new head gasget coming which should be able to take 25psi boost plus 100 shot of NOS.

Heres some more pics.

My attempt at blocking up the coin tray, i'll cut the hole for the gauge very soon, i've got a wide band lambda digital gauge going in there.

My Girlfriend brought me this at Ford Fair, brand spanking new, £160 Thanks babe

Finally got the dash back in.

Took the cylinder head and turbo off today (Sunday 8th August) ready for the new turbo and head gasget, only took me 1 hour 30 mins.
