Paul will be along soon to fill in the details about the car. He paid about a grand for it last summer.

Thats excellent. An inspiration for us all. Goes to show that no matter how rotten (within reason of course) it can be revived.
Just one point though, take care with those R888's in the wet!! They are superb in the dry, but if it rains, you better get out and walk!!

Thanks Rich for putting up some of the pics, and thanks for all the nice comments.
Peteh: The car should be running in about a month or so just a few little bits to sort out and a couple of goodies are due to be delivered within the next week or so.
Christian: Cheers, I have already been warned about these tyres in the wet but to be honest the only time it'll see rain is if I get caught out in it!
TT: When I bought the car it didnt look to sad, it was black all over (sort of), and had tax and MOT so I smoked it around for 6 months or so before stripping it. I also didnt realise how rotten it was.
It was either buy a snotter and completely restore it or buy a minter for about 3-4k or so but then I would have wanted to strip that anyway so it didnt make too much difference, so I bought the snotter!
Cheers

Ya bastards
BandWidth Exceeded.
The pics are just 6x4s that Paul took and I scanned in, so think thats as good as it gets for quality. I have the rest of the 154 photos on my computer, but theres a lot of doubling up and shots that arent that interesting. So I chose a selection that I felt showed the amount of time and money that have been poured into the car over the last 12 months. As and when Paul takes some more, they'll probably end up on here.

The car is now taxed, insured and MOT'd as of a few weeks ago (after loads of aggro with everything!) and is currently in the early stages of the running in process.
A few more bits to come over christmas and the new year to finish it off and i'll try and get some pics to put up as soon as I lay my hands on a digital camera.... Oh Richard.......
Cheers
