Cracking ERST

I had a similar issue with a brand new DW350 pump on my Escos, fuel supply was maxed out on mapping, then there was a lot of head scratching etc etc tank in tank out and what not, new filters, then a simple flow test relieved pump was down 1ltr per min, new pump fitted and map tweaked, it was at 590 before final tweak, since then I've fitted a billet comp wheel to the EFR so ideally map needs checking over again

Again stunning build

When I fitted the IB5 conversion with the CG motorsport hybrid bearing, the first one Broke on fitting and the second broke up on MSD's rollers after 20 mile ish.. luckily I local lad to MSD had one on the shelf so i managed get it fitted and get it mapped.. fast forward 5130 miles later and I've always wanted to change it , so friday i rang G.E.A.R.S up for them to service my box and fit me another folk and metal bearing set up.. so when I got the box out today the third one even though it's been faultless was still in 2 pieces ... anyhow the box is out and getting dropped off in the morning .. other thing is the std baffles in the rocker cover ain't up to the job because of the roller rockers flicking oil into them and it going through my breather set up.. so that's off to Muz also for some uprated baffles..

Nah I'm Not a number chaser, well apart from this car had to be 300hp , I've done that already with plenty of scope left.. it's now running super rich with a poor spark table .. so could quite possibly be another 20hp their without anymore boost once mapped 😎

A safe spark table at the high boost level because of the lack of fuel flow rich, yes which is far better than leaving it lean, not poor, perfectly safe for you to drive.
Only the top two lines of the load table. The rest is perfect. Had it been able to supply the fuel on the dyno then those lines would be perfect too.
Can't wait to see it optimised to the max now. Anymore and you will need a bigger map sensor.

Sorry mate poor choice of word .. safe I mean ..and what's involved in swapping my 3bar for a 4bar map sensor as I have the same map sensor in 4bar on the shelf.

I knew exactly what you meant some people take things out of context. If you re thinking of using 2bar and a bit more then it needs to be done when it goes back on the dyno. It will give you a little headroom on the top lines, I like a little spare space hence I run a 4bar, I often see 3.4bar abs. The load scale just gets re-scaled to share the voltage over 4bar pressure instead of 3bar. Your map table has plenty of resolution for it.
Don't just fit it though lol

Is it the same make? same wiring?

So I've re set the solid lifters since I was changing the rocker gasket and found 2 slightly out so those got set .. the rocker that's cause a few dramas is the past by chucking oil into the catch can is off for some proper baffles.. no wonder only having one std OE baffle .. drive shafts broken down for refurb and new boots whilst I'm waiting for the release bearing from CG motorsport .. I'm waiting on new pins from MK motorsport for the TCas then they can be powder coated and fitted ready for another geometry set up .. got my 4bar out ready for my next trip to MSD .. also I'm fitting a shift light and EML in the dash nice and discreet .. new sump gasket , filter and oil , build it all back up and then it will be ready for MSD to push it a little harder .

Not much progress as I'm still waiting on my release bearing back from C.G motorsport and my TCAs Pins from MK motorsport then I can put the car back together. I decided to change the last of my super pro kit and fit the steering rack bushes and I even got some help from our kid who brought his R8 to see me.. ::

Not much left to do now and it can go back together.

Pins back from MK motorsport so we powder coat the set up and refit.

oil Feed take off (Hex) drilled and tapped for 1/8NPT

1/8NPT boss welded into the sump, for oil temp switch .

Drive shafts powder coated.

New baffles in rocker cover .

Then a morning putting back together.
