as said via our convo on facebook mate, absolutely gutted for you but if theres one person who has a level head/patience and competence to sort it then its yourself.
making awesome power at just 1 bar boost, it proves that your engine spec is working/flowing really well.

The plug used is the proper one. It's for the efi engines that run a coil pack. Mat has used the correct bit of kit. There must be a pressure build up somewhere to blow it out.

Shame to see Matt.
From that pic it does look like you fitted it the right way tho (flat face outwards). Deffo shouldn't need sealant either so either pure shit luck, or excessive crankcase pressure somewhere.
I'd be very suprised (or disappointed with the operator) if that has genuine shed enough oil to damage the engine tho. Thats not exactly a "hidden" spot in the engine bay and equally its not under direct high pressure (as in not a gallery etc) so to lose enough oil to cause damage it must have been running for a fair while with the bung popped out.
Hope it is literally just a case of new bung, top up oil and she's good again.

I've accepted it mate ..just get it home and fix ..it's mapped up to 1 bar so.ill sort it and run it in again. Then have it mapped

Sad news mat , feel for your mate , just get it home and sort that's just typical ford life .
might be worth having a little chat with Karl Norris and see if can shed any light or has any past experience with it falling or popping out.
cheers paul

hi mate ..Yea I'm in talks with a few tuners at min..we have a plan to blank it properly and measure the pressure on the head ..but tbh everyone else running them has a plate over so we are all coming to the conclusion it's just rattled out ..sad but I'll get it sorted mate .

If it lost pressure it must have pumped out a fair bit of oil over a hot engine I would have thought it would have been fairly apparent especially with the hot turbo in that area would surly have been able to smell it on the dyno, I used to like seeing the car during the run that way I could see for myself, it dropped a valve on one run destroying the engine Stage 3 head stage 3 turbo and a piston turned out a bronze guide was worn.
Hope you can save it mate.

Shit luck ffsk ! Come across this before and as whats been mentioned above drill and tap either side of the plug and put securing bolts in and wire lock them Matt because if harmonics come in to play thats a fail safe way of dealing with it

The mapper thinks he heard a knock as he shut off when the oil pressure dropped ..I'm going to measure the oil left in it as I'm told there is still quite a bit in the sump under the dipstick on the cvh ..if that's the case I might fill it up and try it ..although I'm dying to just inspect it first ...more than likely will .
