Not much to report ..she goes on Friday for the charge carrier made and a bracket ..tonight I've just fitted the new Vin tags from monster .

 

I'm a fan of Dave's work I've got his vin tags too. I bet you can't wait for Friday to come. What intercooler did you end up going for?

 

Yea nice to get the finishing bits sorted ..ended up using the pace rs500 cooler .

Stick the thermostat blank in as I don't need the switch anymore .

 

Early rise at 0700 ..waiting for the truck to arrive ..she's now safely at ND performance and fabrication ..he thinks he will have it done by today or tomorrow morning at the latest ..here's a few pics ..the car cover hasn't helped the paint at all ..so it's due a paint correction once up and running then into the carcoon.

oh yes mate such a cracking motor, a real credit to you, that engine bay has got some serious thought going into it.

A few sensors have started to arrive .

 

Changed the colour of the charge carrier I'm 50/50 ..the whole charge carrier set up and a colour scheme at the minute I'm not feeling all that good with ..it's a case of having to play with stiff.

 

 

I sort of agree ..but I did it crackle black and it looked wank tbh .

 

Mat, personally I think it looked at its best prior to any coatings on the charge pipe.

 

 

Think you should paint the rocker cover red and skim the engraving back to silver and leave the charge carrier set up in silver.

Its the rocker cover colour thats the problem.

 

I did think that tbh mate .

that has crossed my mind tbh mate ..good call .

rocker cover and all tanks etc are off and for a colour scheme once it's all running ..rocker cover colour to be confirmed as I'm unsure what to go for yet.

 

Some more new sensors came today and my EGT amplifier ..and a few pics in the sun .

Good job I did a spanner check tonight and a turn over ..

 

 

not a clue mate stripped it down and nothing as been in it or near the new belt ..so maybe slashed when the cars been else where ..I just don't know .

 

Looks like sabotage to me ?

 

I'm not sure mate ..but it wasn't like that before going .

 

Well.had all the oil out and gave the car a full intensive inspection of everywhere possible with the endoscope all has come back good and clear no debris or anything ...thank God ..so going to fit a new belt and move on with the build .
