thanks mate ..Yea it's a forged blueprinted CVH 1600 ..it's not mapped yet but I'd like to say I could pull 380 of the block would hold up ..but it's a road car so I'm capping it at 300 .

A bit of an update although not much has happened as I've been in North Africa ..I've decided on a few add ons to the spec .like Tractive drive and launch control so we can use the power to tarmac better and I'm waiting on a few parts coming back that have had to be altered so hopefully by the end of the month I should be in a position to book for mapping.
also I'm half tempted to have anti lag .

Ah ok! I didnt even notice the side button TBH! Looks well where it is, I have always been a fan of rear mounting and flush mounting if the item can, but in your case. clearly not able to

Blimey been a while since I've seen any of Brom's kit.
You need to grab a blanking plate for the old stereo joystick (by the steering wheel) - looks lost and is obviously pointless functionality wise. Hopefully you can grab one for peanuts, afternall they were fitted across the range so shouldn't suffer RS tax
Looks great otherwise

Can you get blanks for them mate as it isn't needed as you say ..so I'll look into that once it's up and running .
Well I've booked it in for mapping and Steve himself is coming to mine to take a look at what we need and says he will fit and map in only a few days ... so just waiting for Steve to turn up at my house .

I had a similar MEF front ARB kit on a mk3 escort. Great bits of kit, really transformed the handling. I think the bits of hardware that bolt through the tca's can be bought direct from rally design

Well had a few hours on the car today ..Got round to fitting the Rally design quick shift kit I've had on the shelf for 2 years ..reason I've gone for this is because I've had one before and was great plus I don't have to drill or cut anything on the car ...anyhow got it all done and it feels great ..nice smooth and short shift .

Had a mock up with an old cone filter tonight ..and measured up for a new one and a nice 45° hose (on order) ..then I cleaned up the hose clips for the boost pipes and fitted then the next day my bespoke made leads arrived and my new Zeitronix loom landed..and tonight I've sourced some M10 x 1.5 Aero lock nuts and stainless bolts for the T3 flange .

Managed to get the mock up with the RamAir cone filter and measure up I've ordered a 76mm- 89mm 45° black hose ..I also got the breather all plumbed in and the cam trigger sensor set up ..few random pics. I've decided once it's all mapped and running I'll strip the bits and tanks etc and pic a colour scheme so it all looks nice and neat.
