went out to buy milk yesterday in me and came home with this project,







shes a bit rough and ready but its all there and a genuine California car with factory power discs and steering

Ha no went to get milk in me capri got talking to an old bloke on a 42 harley who said he had a mustang he took it as a trade on another bike, few hours and a pile of cash later and arrived home with it.

Tenuous Capri link in that group picture...the Reliant Scimitar in the background has Consul Capri front screen and rear bumper.

No doubt most of the rest of a Scimitar was built using suitable parts from across the UK motor industry. Anyone on here got one and know?

Used to have one of them to, there built of bits of everything,TR6 front suspension, jag back axle, capri engine and box and bumpers off some other english thing i cant remember

its actually a zetec from an st170, it was making 315 at 14 psi but ive since changed exhaust housing on turbo and upped boost to 18 psi

And the Mustang looks a beauty, nice and solid too by the look of it, interested to see the progress on this one, if you don't mind me asking, what sort of money was in it ?


Seriously thinking of something like this now as can't beat the thump of a big old lazy V8 !

no real updates got a few free hours today so stripped the interior to see what i was facing, not as bad as i thought it would be just front floor pans and few patches so far
