I did it yesterday. 1 patch on the sill and 2 patches in the rear inner arch. I only set fire to the boot carpet and interior plastics. It melted all the wires together too lol. Ops not to worry.

Think Rod Tarry mentioned a piece of metal welded to the cross member to locate the bumper and support it?

I don't think it as dropped like you mentioned its more like the supporting hole on the side by the wing as rusted causing the drop. if you know what I mean.

When I first got mine it was a bit low, the peg had broken off, someone had put a bolt in place of it, which had machined the triangle hole out, making the bumper sit too low.
Just put a small plate on, but the plastic main bracket had snapped, so got rid of all the oursplastic mount and put Dzus fasteners either side

had the paint sorted on Friday.
drivers side ,front bumper grill front edge of bonnet. repair and blend of both corner by sunroof. passenger rear Q.
The drivers door is causing a problem from a prior repair from an attempted theft. he had repaired and sealed the door, primer went on fine, but as soon as base coat went on a few lines appeared. these were sorted and base went on fine, but after the clear was applied they came back. So he wants to let it cure for a week and apply laquer to the lines before wet flat and mop. If that don't work its back top bare metal and start again.

not sure why hes masked it like that, where its been blended don't think it would have taken much prep any way.

I would say about 300 quid. They have a few curb marks on them which the bloody wife did when they were on her focus.

Stu the tail pipe has always stuck out like that. Its a scorpion back box but the centre section has been repaired at some point.

All the reference numbers that you possibly can recover from the box.

I only have the numbers printed on the springs - just would like to see if anything matches.

Car is looking good by the way

not had a great weekend, wifey had a scan on Friday and they kept her in. The baby isn't growing as well as should be. So she's in for another next Friday, theym hoping it was a problem with scan itself. But if there is a problem they might have to deliver her next month when she's not due til july 7th.
