Somehow I missed all the new stuff in the update Damo, hence the PM! Thought you'd forgotten you have a Cosworth that's waiting to be mapped sitting around down at your place
Love the work with the HT leads, and the boost pot is too cool also. Crank the fuel pressure up to hit 3.5 bar I was just looking at pics without reading your blurb at first and wondered what the hell kind of power you were looking at, seeing a gauge reading to 7 bar I see now that it isn't a boost gauge

I have also managed to get the paint code for the escort cos blue cam cover, but no body can make the paint for me?? - They just say it is not listed!
Any help would be a +++

tgsday, Anodised blue? just get yer old one done, by any decent platers or the like locally??
The best bet re std blue shade would be to go through a load of colour chips to find the closest shade, but if you go to a decent powdercoaters they will find one damn close Im sure, prob only be about 30quid for blast and powder..

Cheers Damo - I have got a spare rocker and I was going to do it myself but I don't have your expertise so I will see if somone else can do it..
I am also going to PM Dave for some photos of his and ask him how much he wants for it.

I've just read all of your restoration thread and i have to say that is one of the most beautiful cossies i've seen
My hat goes off to all the hard work you've put into this car. There isn't many people these days who can say honestly that they own a "mint" cossie and its people like you putting in all this hard work that will ensure classic fords will still be around for years to come.
I only hope when I actually get around to starting work on my xr2 that I can get it looking half as good as your car
Well done on a tip top job. Hope you get the car all set up soon

Small update, nothing SPECIAL.....
Today I fitted some new Nylon Rack bushes from Brom at Zoo... I did fit some new ones a short while ago, before engine build, but the "knocking" returned!!.. Anyway they are done and its MINT!!!
Fitted a new Engine coolant sensor, as mine messed about a little on the SECS monitor a couple of weeks back, so thought it best to change, also checked for fluid levels / leaks and loose bolts etc while I was underneath!! ALL SWEET
Got a slight niggly prob with my ABS light but apart from that its FULL steam ahead now!!! Much happier now I have been under the car and checked it all out now
