Yes mate I have one of marks manifolds it's at his I've not got a turbo yet I'll worry about that once the engine is in. Ill look into the drop bracket not lowering the alternator enough thanks for the heads up I dare say I'll run into a few issues

There's a few ways around it. I thought my alternator wouldn't last 5 minutes due to the heat but it's done 1000 miles so far without problems!

Def worth zircotec coating the manifold, only down side is that the manifold looks so good in raw metal!....oh, and the cost!

Good days work on the old girl day.

Fitted my beam and diff which was a bit of a fooker to get in. The diff hanger is the worse bit as the rear cover hides 2 of the bolts.

Na not at all it's purely a toy that will go fast. It's going to A1 rally sport soon I hope for fully adjustable top mounts adjustable lower arms compression struts and a bladed front roll bar. I hope to maybe do some track days in it. Anyway the tyres are rubber so that's a little give lol

I had a lot of solid on my 911 track car and that became a little hard work on the road, especially on track day tyres but it was perfect when you just wanted to take it for a blast. I thought this was going to be used as a daily.

It will be fantastic when finished.

Na not a daily will cost too much in fuel lol will be a toy. It was a daily for many years but then I decided I liked it too much and it was a worry leaving it unattended.

Got a fuel gauge for the old girl as I'll be using an aim strada dash. After looking into it I'd need a modern stack in the tank that signals the dash with a 5v signal to determine fuel level. Can't do arsed to fit a modern stack in the tank so I'm happy with this

Should have some nice shiny front suspension parts turning up this week! Was meant to be sending the car off but it fell through but to be honest i don't like leaving the car with anyone anyway there's only one place I will leave it. So i ordered the parts from mk Motorsport at a reasonable price I can do the work myself. Will give something to tinker with next month. I'll get some pics up when they arrive I can't wait

It's all working, just no tax or MOT. Probably just use the 3dr this year. Building a annex for my parents so no time to play with cars.

Got a parcel from mk Motorsport today a very nice selection of front suspension parts to make the front adjustable like the back. Quality of the work is top notch as normal!

Ha Ha I trust my engine builder 100% thats the only place I will leave it. Only reason I was going to get a mate to get it booked in for suspension work was because I was going to have adjustable top mounts fitted. I may still do that once the car is up and running but I'll use mk I think

Dead at work this week so I got the front suspension stripped out of my old boat. Cleaned and painted my hub carriers fitted new wheel bearings. Got new strut top bearings and my black edition top bushes. Also popped round and paid rod for his old fuel pump so fuel system will be up to spec as I already have -8 lines and suitable reg.

Bolted a few bits on today as I'm on call so have the work van with all my gear in it. Seems ok but will need properly setting up. Also when I take the car to work to fit the engine I'll also tack the roll bar mounts in place.

I read on here they can be bolted with nutserts so painted them and did that then asked mk and he said weld would be better. There on there for now and very secure but when I take the car to work to fit the engine I will also weld them in a few places so if ever needed they can be removed.
