I'm not sure bud to be honest. But it was on the car before I took it apart and it's defiantly a t5 box? Hmmmmm

Right I have started to get all the parts ready to piece the car back together now.. Still a long way to go as gonna be sorting the loom next.
Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get the rear quarter window trims From? Don't have to be genuine obviously as ya can't get em!

UPDATE
Well i have been cracking on with the 3dr and making some slow progress but am really happy with it so far.
Got all the powdercoated bits back a few weeks ago and have fitted all the new polybushes and got most of the underside back together.
Also decided to send the head off for porting as think the power is going to be slightly more than originally planned and was advised porting the head would be a good idea.
A FEW PICS:

Unwrapped the old girl at the weekend to take the loom out! Then realised how lucky i was to get my new shell
Once the road car is finished in the garage hopefully the old shell is going to become a Andy rouse ICS replica track car!
how to do a screenshot on a pc

Got my TCA`s back today! What a fookin headache thats been
Bought a pair of standard sierra TCA`s which are near on identical but when it came to fitting, the small bush that bolts to the crossmember was a little tight so got the verniers out and there was about 1mm difference all round compared to the cossie ones so took them to a mate and had them machined out.
There like a glove now so just waiting on my output shafts and she will be rolling again

Cheers mate. You got a resto thread on yours bud?
To be honest the old shell aint that bad and will be more than good enough for a track car once the road car is finished.
I have also just aquired a q plate escos shell so now i dont know what to have as a track car as i do love the wrc escos`s. LOL

Fair play to ya, For me i'd make the escort rwd? but it's each to their own.
There were some 3dr quarter rubbers for sale on here a while back but not sure if they for sale! The hardest part i'm trying to find is a good pair of front door window outer rubbers
as i bent mine up during the respray !!!!

Oh it will be RWD mate. Its the only way LOL. I was building a RWD wrc escos before the 3dr but sold it as wasnt bothered when i bought 3dr.
I managed to get the quarter trims from a guy on here but they are a nightmare for bits.
I will check your thread out bud!

Track car for sure but i really love the wrc escorts and the rs500 touring car but i cant decide which one! Not that its going to be for a while.
I remember you had a few yb`s kicking about chris but to be honest i will buy a rotten saff or something as you have everything then as its a pain trying to source bits and find where it all goes!!

Finally solved the 3dr TCA issue
Bought a standard set of sierra ones which all lined up ok but as you all know the end that bolts into the crossmember is smaller!
Checked it out against the old ones, took it to a mates and had it machined out 1mm and the polybush went in lovely. Now all bolted to the car and looks fine so hopefully sorted.
