Got my Gaz coilovers now so will be fitting them the weekend
Also made a decision on my front brake set up now which will comprise of reyland mk1 focus rs 330mm grooved front discs and a set of bmw e38 brembo front calipers from Ebay! Good setup considering it cost me Ł475
Will upload pics over the weekend.

Had a real good few days on the cossie this weekend and managed to strip the loom from the old shell and get it mostly back in the new shell
Easier than i expected apart from the numpty that designed the entire loom to come out of the pissy little whole under the fusebox
Also managed to get the new sound proofing in + steering column and pedals
Few pics:
Before:
upload pictures free
Nearly finished:
how to print screen on pc
Intercooler sat in to see what it looks like:
Sound proofing done:
free screen capture software
Few more bits in engine bay:
photo hosting software
Engine bay loom:
image hosting without account
image upload no compression
Bit of a mess but thats the next job
GAZ'S fitted
image hosting facebook
image hosting tynipic
Had a real good weekend with it this weekend, Next jobs are fit my new bulkhead mat and fit the bulkhead back up with master cylinder, pipes etc then change a few plugs on the engine bay loom and retape it all and clip it all back in.

Ordered my front brakes this week too. Really wanted 330mm AP's but they are mega bucks so i have decided to go with the 324mm reyland grooved focus rs discs and some bmw e38 4 pot brembos from a guy on ebay who sells them with brackets for cossie conversion.
Discs:
pic upload
Calipers:
screen shot in windows
The discs are new and calipers fully rebuilt, painted with new pads and it all cost me Ł470 delivered so i thought a good kit for that considering the AP's are Ł1200ish

Slight change of plans!!!
Well I may be selling my new shell but only if the price is right?
I have decided to have a cage put in my old shell, do the welding and turn it into a 500bhp ics touring car rep? You probably all think I'm mad but if I carry on with the new shell it will never leave the garage when it's done!
I really want to use this for track days and will be to scared plus I feel it's a waste of a shell if it ends up in the tyre wall!!
Any ideas what my new shell may be worth??

I totally agree James but when I bought this it never intended to get so clean and to be honest it's taken the fun out of it bit as everything has to be perfect now and its driving me nuts cry:
I have been watching a few rs500 touring car vids over the weekend and love it and really fancy an ics rep or similar.
I mainly wanna go racing and possibly drifting so a concourse 3 dr ain't really gonna work for me.

Lol. I can't see it going anywhere James as I would only part with it for good money and even then it would have to be waved in front of me!

Hello Lee
No not much to report at the minute mate as works mental again and to be honest I shouldn't moan but im not good in the heat lol.
I have been having a sort out today ready to get on it again, Just loaded all the engine in the van ready to drop off tomorrow so hopefully should have some more progress soon!
