Stunning work mate keep it up

 

After a bit of debating we weren't happy with the rear wings so we sanded them down and did the again, we're now going to rub the whole car down with 2500 paper and machine polish the lot.

 

We picked up a new T35 turbo for the engine should be up to the job

 

We decided to do the car again as there where a few bits we weren't happy with so it's back in primer



The inside of the Bootlid we got done in topcoat

Fitted the mesh under the bonnet cut outs


Painted the Bootlid tonight get some pics up tomorrow

Got the front end painted today just the rear to do

Painting again today got the rest of the car done only the doors to do now, should get them done this week

Haven't had chance to do much over Xmas but back on it now
Now the cars painted can start fitting a few bits, got the roof lining in

 

Got both rear quarter glass in today and made a start on the new loom been fitted

 

We got the stone guards done today on the rear arches and the roof all wrapped in carbon
Turned out well were well chuffed

 

We. Got the bonnet on today with the bonnet locks fitted aswell





Try and get some more of the glass fitted tomorrow, then a trial fit of the engine if all goes well.

Made a start on the fuse box and relay holder that's going to go where the glove box is normally, covered in carbon.

Made a start on the engine loom
Using my old one out of the 3dr to start with then getting a new one later.
We are replacing all the plugs and braiding all we can

 

We got the loom finished ready to go in just on with making the fan loom





That will be a the complete car rewired

I love this project - no idea how I missed this last year - but looking forward to reading more updates.
I like a lot of what you're doing - wheels especially are epic! The only thing I'm not sure about is the carbon wrap on the roof. A real carbon roof is fine, (got one on my 3dr), and I can see the benefit of wrapping your rear arches to protect them too; but after going to great lengths to perfect your paint job (which looks great btw) it seems a shame to pretend to have a carbon roof.. just my opinion and I appreciate it's yours to do with as you please! I chose to paint mine to keep it std looking, so each to their own

The wiring loom looks cool.

 

I understand where your coming from but we. Thought it was a bit different and a real carbon roof inset in the budget, but we can always pull it off down the line.

Just got half way through the fan loom tonight should be done tomorrow

Nearly finished the fuse box tonight, and the relays all new wiring just got to fasten all the looms up nice and neat.
Got to now sort the centre console out

 

The bolts will be changed for black ones there just to mok it all up for now
