Mondeo engine with wiring loom. Then you'd benefit from aftermarket management if you want to fit carbs

Thought I would take the car for an mot this
Week with the 1.1 engine still in to see what's
Needed. It went through with 3 advisorys, brake pipe, exhaust bracket
And a dodgy earth on the back light. Tomorrow
I'm fitting the bumpers, clocks, rs1600i front splitter
And rear spoiler, rear spats. Also going to mop the car
And use it until I have the rest of stuff needed
To put the rs2000 engine in. Will post pics tomorrow

I thought the inlet would foul the brake bar when i trial fitted one in mine!
Is it possible to fit the engine without chopping anything on the chassis? What about if a custom engine mount was made to suit the standard chassis?

Nice. got any pics of the top mount mods? Also how did you mod the front mount? My mk4 has a cradle so restricts adjustment.

I will take some pics of top mount.
Here is the front mount being lined up.
I cut a bit off of another mount and welded it to
The top of the existing 1.
