lowmans new car:)ford focus rs mk1,number 2893:)video n vented bonnet update,page3
hello people.
its been awhile. and thought id post a project thread of it
its a 2003 focus rs, its got 56k miles on the clock, but the car,,,after i have had the first round of buftying ,its like brand new almost.and for now ,the plan is to get it as close to new as possible
specs:ford focus rs mk, miltek decat system, graham goode cold air intake filter box,it has a bluefin thingy in the back but unsure if its been programmed into the car yet, its got a nice stereo in it(i would never spend money on getting one,,,but its cool that its in the car)xenon kit in headlights and fog lights, carbon look roof, looks quite nice actually,
otherwise the car is standard,,and like i said ,the plans with the car is to get the level of mintness up to 100%
anyways...here are some pictures of the car, enjoy

Looks like a nice example
If you get a chance, have a look at www.focusrsbuildlist.co.uk as it would be nice to get the car added to the database, especially as there are not that many LHD ones known on there

i have been on there..and the car is actually on the list...it started its life in sweden,a woman who drove it from new and 5 years on...before it was imported to norway by a proper bufty head,,and then a friend of him bought it....and kept it for a year..and i just recently bought it...3 weeks ago..
but i will register it on that site..and put some proper info in there aswell
cheers for looking
by the way..im getting some parts for it tomorrowso there will be some more picture updates pretty soon

well people
here is a little bufty update on my focus rs
like i said earlier...my plans for the car is to make the car look like new.change or refurbish old parts for new parts even if its minor stuff,to keep it in top condition.
so i have bought new screws for the arch liners ,new coolant tank with cap,and brackets for the abs sensors up front
ive just fitted the expansion tank today, and here are some pics..not that good ones though...but you get the idea.enjoy people

hehehe i have mixed feelings about them...but they are not on the car at the moment.i like the standard ones better...but in real life..the ones on the pics are not that bad i think.gives the car a quite fresh modern look.but i found out that i like the standard ones better anyways..--so they are staying on
cheers for looking

Engine bay looks so clean!
Do you happen to know the part number for these screws? I am in need of a few but my local Ford dealer is run by a bunch of mongtards, so would be good to know a part number.
Cheers

thank you very much for kind words.yeah its deadly clean this car..and sometimes i wonder if its a reshelled car and build from scratch...though i know it isnt
but spent some good amount of hours cleaning and refurbing stuff that need to be refurbed..and got myself some new parts..and more to come luckily
i havent paid any membership fee.....it didnt say anything about you having to pay a membership to get your profile activated...but i do then?

and some more
changed the oil in the gearbox for third time just to flush it proper, changed the cam sensor, crank sensor, and a clips for the coolant return hose, and sparkplugs
as you can see i also measured the old vs new cam and crank sensor, just for my own intrest, and as you can see there is abit less resistance in the new ones compared to the old ones, very little though, but i like to have things spot on
and i also adjusted the gap on the spark plugs(measured the old ones aswell and they were around 1mm gap,but adjusted the new ones to 0.8)
cheers again

it is a graham goode cold air intake system, with a KN cone airfilter inside it,and the box you can see is connected to the standard intake hose that runs on the left side inside the front bumper
cheers
