Not a fan of white escos wheels.

Fog surrounds are silver as standard.

And please go out and buy a splitter for it, dont make one.

I dont mind tbh, he isnt ruining the car, he is doing reversible changes, and tbh, it's his fault if he wastes his money. So long as he doesnt write it off like a tit, I'm not fussed.

Well the splitter is a mk2 Golf one but is too big so it scrapes over everything so just got to chop it in half, smooth, and paint it black. So it's not like im making one out of wood, if thats what you thought

Car looking sexy. Just a few recent pics from my phone.
Dunno if anybody agrees but these white wheels really make the car! when the car and wheels are polished they compliment each other sooo well, any other colour would be a no no IMHO, see pics below to see what i mean.

Fords are a never ending tinkering machine, something new every weekend (I really feel for you propper Cossie guys with the expensive parts)
recent parts fitted
Clutch cable
Both rear calipers, hoses
Various sensors
Poly beam bushes

parts it needs after a quick look over today are
top mount bearings
steering colum bush
rear camber shims tyres are fcked on the inside
gear box mount mt75 where can i get one?

This was at Squires Fordmeet 7th April

Shudda kept the bonnet shut
I painted the fog surrounds silver which transformed the front end.

I was well chuffed when the 2 beasts pulled up next to mine

Take the RS and the Cosworth badges off it. Your car is neither of these.

Sorry, but I hate replica's that are badged up as the real thing..

Looks well.Have you still got the idle speed control valve fitted to the inlet pipe.

When i put a cone filter on my old sierra it wouldnt idle without the valve.

Yes it's tucked under the inlet pipe.

Default few updates

Started sorting some rust that was really bugging me, virtually all this corner was cut away and built up with new metal just a shame i can't paint

see although i did rub this down a little after, dare'nt sand it anymore was using 1500 so maybe use 2000.

Looks a twat but zero rust, doesn't help with it being a different shade of black fecking Halfords

Had to spend some money recently on forever failing parts. Pair of new rear calipers.

Camber shims fitted

Pair of these

Had to buy this as i needed a braket in order to covert my car to power steering. Nice clean engine with recent timing chain kit all for a bargan £70

I fitted this lot to my car a few days ago and i can't tell ya how amazing power steering is compared to what i had before it's like a normal car now.

Fucked steering colum bush Have you done yours? i ovelooked this for ages, thought it would be one of them pain in this arse jobs but simple job with good rewards, just don't twat ur hand with the hammer note the blood blister

Cheers

Remember seeing the first thread you put on here, then the second and the way it slowly went wayward, before starting to come back on track, now this, glad to see the change in the way you do things now, car looks nice even though I've never been a fan of escos rims on saphs (prefer comps or standard) with the paint on the rear arch try going to a proper paint suppliers most will put it in a can for you and you'll get better quality and match, will always be hard to blend in halfway up the panel especially in black, best way to try though is making sure the surface you're painting is properly prepped, I mean flat then try to feather it out before sanding it back and polishing it, done it this way before with good results but takes a little time and effort, either way keep the updates coming

Well there's a problem with either the diff or a drive shaft, when slowing down there's a tyre rubbing like sound coming from the rear sounds like the n/s.
Process of elimination tomorrow.
Cheers
