xs power... its just a cheap shitty one to get me up an running tbh and is probably worse than a std one lol, but i can use the dimensions and location of the flanges to have a proper equal length one made by my mate

right well i got a bit bored in work today so started a bit of sanding/polishing...

first i made a start on the new plenum that was covered in deep scratches and was looking a bit tatty



then i thought while ive got it apart i'd make a start polishing my inlet trumpets...
.... it proved to be a lot more hard work than i anticipated. i really need to invest in some more power tools for doing this

Once the underside is cleaned back and prepped;
use a zink rich primer,
seam seal
another coat of primer
stonechip (3m or upol gravitex)
then finish with diamond white

When you say cleaned back and prepped, do you mean strip the original underseal off too?

I'm at this point as well... Mine had an aditional layer of black underseal on which I got off with a spray bottle of petrol and about 15 hours labour lol

My plan was to stone chip then paint over that

2 tins of Gunk and two days of my brothers life!
I was planning to white stonechip then diamond white over also???

What colour you doing rear beam, petrol tank etc??

Where do you know the shell from mate?
