love that transit on those rims, cool van mate, was going to ame as you but heard that newer shape heads wont fit that handy, so might just look out for a cheap mk7 transit,

 

yep inner wings need to be changed, as does most of the metalwork from the bulkhead forwards. can get away with using my scuttle panel.

 

its coming along nicely will look well smart when finished

If the renault/vauxhall has a 6speed box you will have fun changing the clutch when it nacks up.I did one the other week what a bastard lol.

It looks well on them wheels.

I got an 08 sprinter, its got tints, chrome pack, big stereo.
I love driving it.

 

If you don't mind me asking whats involved in making this look like that? been looking at vivaros to throw bikes in the back of and that makes me want one more

 

Just uncovered this thread.........did the tranny get finished?

 

Completely forgot about this thread. Funnily enough it came up on a google search.

Van never got "finished" as I decided it wasn't worth pumping loads of money into something of that age and mileage.

I have however, replaced it with a 130 bhp mk7 which has just had an engine rebuild so will be going off for a remap as soon as i have sorted out a rear door and side door

When i got it from a guy who has a unit next door

Have also got a sport kit to go on and a few other bits so should look quite smart once it's all done

 

I love Transits, bought myself this last month 125 Limited, gonna get it mapped to 170

 

looks lovely bud. Yeah have read that the euro 5's respond really well to a remap.

Will have to keep an eye out for you, shouldn't be too hard

 

I do like these trannys they drive so well.

 

Should see some people's reactions when I overtake them up a hill haha. Pulls really well up until around 80 which is more than enough for our roads.
