Thanks! It's been a tough few years finding the time and the money to do it but I think it's finally nearing completion!

Heres a few pictures to update, most are from earlier in the week but didn't upload.
The car goes on Monday and still have some "extra's" to do. Induction pipe been the main thing.
Sorry these aren't good pictures, New tunnel to accommodate exhaust, (Will is finishing/painting these parts)
First silencer
Exhaust is tight here as well
Fuel tank sender
Bracket on tank
Tank before fitting

It's more of an "idea" of whats in the tank I think. Price is the main reason, thats the stock sensor. Works fine with a stock dash or can be calibrated.

Well, picked the car up from Race Tech today and so grabbed a few photos as Ricky seems to be better at welding than photography
Starting with my new fuel tank:
The pipework maintains the standard filler and breather pipework:
I've got a high flow, low pressure lift pump mounted inside the tank now with a -6AN feed coming through on a bulkhead connector. After a chat with Ricky it was agreed that the tank would be baffled and the lift pump draw from an internal collector:
The lift pump now feeds into this custom swirl pot:
From which the fuel system draws:
And to comply with Time Attack regs, a firewall was made up:
A shot of the finished exhaust manifold with the wastegate take offs:
From the top:
Inside the collector:
My new 'downpipe'
Exhaust gas temp and lambda sensor bosses:
Close up of the quality of the welds:
Oil return to clear the high temp areas of the manifold:
Air filter and intake pipe with Roose Motorsport custom silicone hoses:
Just to put into perspective (it's 4" pipe!)
Exhaust tailpipe:
Silencer box and pipework going over the rear subframe:
The underside of the car showing the roll cage bar going through the tunnel and the new metal of the tunnel Ben at Race Tech fabbed up for me to allow the exhaust to remain 3" all the way:
Now its all systems go with the build!

Part of the Furniture
Will home come you had to cut the tunnel on the car for the 3" Lum? BCS do a 3" exhaust for the focus RS and it doesn't reduce in size there? Is it so you can keep the car flatter + lower ?

The Safety Devices homologated roll cage has a bar that goes through the tunnel (you should be able to see it in the last picture from my previous post) there wasn't enough space above the bar to get 3" pipe through

Hopefully! I ran a simulation of the engine last week and the first run showed 451.3bhp at under 2.0 bar of boost.
450bhp I think will be more than enough to get things going for now. I'm building the car with the capability to run more which should ensure reliability!

Few random pics from today:
The modified area of the tunnel as it came back from Race Tech (it was agreed i'd sort it):
Scotched down, panel wiped and seam sealed:
Then, we put the dash in to see how it looked and measured up:
(Looks awesome in the car - Raj's idea with the lettering was brilliant!)
Then it was on to mocking up the hoses after assembly to make sure they were right and establish where they're getting secured:
Tried the Roose Motorsport silicone coolant hoses for size and started mocking out for the new aeroquip lines after Race Tech welded me -6's onto the header tank:

Another quick update:
Tried the dash complete with the AIM Pista and gauges:
Then put a few bits together to do some mocking up for oil feeds, returns etc:
Finished mock up:

Just a quick update - been doing lots of mocking up, ordering the last few little bits and trying to catch up with some uni work.
The tunnel is now looking a lot better, a coat of etch primer:
Followed by colour and lacquer:
The inside of the car is so dusty I didn't really need to mask up
I'll give it all a good clean down before the seats go back in
Been mocking up the water lines for the turbo, hopefully Ricky will have my new thermostat housing with me soon for me to get that on and measured up:
Due to the layout of the new manifold I have gone down a different route for the oil return so popped down to see 'markk' tonight and he did a cracking job of welding me a fitting onto my new sump pan:
Matt Lewis has sent me the final batch of parts out today for the engine so will hopefully be able to get on with the final build ASAP!
It's slowly coming together

Thank you
Yeah, Raj did an awesome job with the flocking - really pleased with it
Bearing in mind each wastegate is only responsible for the gas flow of 2 cylinders I don't see there being too much of a problem. It would have been nice to have had a more progressive taper in the line of flow but sadly as with most compromises on this build, it's down to space!
