Wheels are a funny one I admit. I bought them when the car was just going to be a fast road car with standard bodywork. Since the transition into race car, I have wondered about a change...
Maybe they'll become my rims for wets in due course

Aye Jim, I've just scrapped an old EasyJet plane so he can take bits from

@ Will
Leave the wheels as they are, the fact you started this car with the intention of doing something that hasn't really been done to such a level was your goal a good while back, the wheels just add to that marmite feel that some may not agree with. F*ck 'em

Cheers guys - really pleased with the feature!
Ade has done a cracking job with the photos - even if it was his most stressful ever shoot!
Neil and the Fast Ford boys have done a great job putting it all together

Hi Will,
Where did you get your upper grille from mate? It is the exact one i have wanted for a while, there is a number of debadged grilles on the market but looking at numerous pictures of it on your car with the bonnet open and shut, it is the one i really want to buy, could you direct me towards where it came from please!?

Is there anywhere on here where you said which aerocatch design you went for? And did you need to add anything to secure them where you have in the engine bay? Or was it direct fit, as that position looks awesome!
I want to get some and not sure whether you went for 'flush' or 'push flush' ?
Thanks again.

Just been through the whole thread. Amazing project I must say!!!... I want a toy like that too! :-D.
I was wondering where you purchase the black braided steel hoses you use in your fuelpump setup?

I am building a "stealth" enginebay in my S2, and want to use black fittings and hoses all over the bay
.
Check out my projeckt here: https://passionford.com/forum/restor...done-pics.html

Kasper - PM on its way to you!
svt-focus - I've just had a look on ebay and there aren't any listed
I'll have a dig through my receipts and see if I can find out who supplied it. I think it was a company called 'JapParts' from Lancaster, rings a bell as I found it amusing they were selling Ford stuff
The aerocatches are 'plus flush' ones, its just a case of positioning them where you can secure the pins - where I've put mine is tricky as the front panel is honeycomb construction!

Can you tell me what thread size/ adaptor you used on the power steering pump high pressure pipe? I can see your using -an fitting on the hose itself and want to do the same on my fiesta. Cheers
No Carlo,

Taking the business forward with premises, new equipment etc. has swallowed up all my time and money for the last 9 months really.
Plus, i'm still trying to get rid of some gremlins in the H bridge (drive by wire). The throttle pedal is working and calibrated, the ECU is giving an output demand but the throttle body isn't reacting. Try the throttle body on a different car and it works fine, ECU has been away for inspection and upgrade and apparently bench tests ok. Very strange
If I ever get chance, i'd like to try and get things sorted and maybe do Oulton Park Time Attack this year. However, i've got a customers running and they do take priority!
I'll put some of the pics up from the photoshoot at some point too

Yes, the Mini is doing a number of rounds as a One Hit Wonder - unfortunately work commitments mean that he can't do the full calendar. There's also another car that i'm getting more and more involved with so suspect i'll be kept busy at all the TA events between the two of them
