Nice one commig along now.Whats the size of your garage? Dont the neighbours complain about it being in the front garden.
As for gearbox tunnel you will need a bigger tunnel as the t9 only just fits it and the cossie box is a lot bigger easy to get one all the escort rally prep places sell them.

also have a larger gearbox tunnel on order just need some inner and outer sills now

Wicked! Makes me miss my old can seeing yours i had adjustable gaz shocks on the back of mine and they wer great! Pretty sure there the same a Renault 5gt rear shocks but don't quote me on that... Lol

I'm relatively new on here and still catching up with so many good reads. This one makes me more upset than most as I sold my 2-owner Mk1 1300XL (rebuilt by me with all Mexico running gear and f/wings) for just Ł450 back in '96. I paid Ł300 for the wheels & tyres only a few '000 miles earlier although it had been garage stored for a couple of years.
I had owned it since 1980 and it was Ziebarted (remember them?) from new so very solid, top and bottom. Midnight Blue to cover up that awful purple velvet colour. Even 1300E's didn't look good in it.
