as sierra shells go that looks really solid ,i actually bought one of these the other day ,shell is absolutley solid as it came in from cyprus at some stage and was in left hand drive .the guy i got it off has the bulkhead 80 % welded back in with a rhd bulkhead .
i dont know if i would ever trust it so i may strip it,and remove the wings quater panels etc and hide them away lol

havent updated in a wile.

car is fully stripped underneath currently.

got a compressor so have been sanding the car down... also riveted all the bodykit on, took off the door strips and fixed any rust spots on the car..... fully undersealed the arches also... next job is to underseal underneath and get a new tank....

also stripped the engine and engine bay,s ill undecided on what engine to fit,, possibly a 2.0 pinto.

heres a few pics of the work done will get a few more tomorrow

cheers

few pics of the bodykit fitted and the condition underneath

put the kit on with hex rivets. takes less than 10 mins to take it off with the ratchet.. and you cant see them once there up inside the kit

got my breather an header tank fitted also

all surface rust atm underneath will be fixed before its painted

cheers for looking

looking good cant believe how good the underside is, keep in mind them rivets that come off quick will come off just as quick when you leave the car parked up too long in a car park, theres plenty of theives about now that know what these parts are worth, just a heads up

hello mate, with that scorpio engine are you going with rs cams? and what are you going for ignition wise?? i know theres a company called aldon that do a kit but ive found a much cheaper way 2 run 1 of these and mine is on the twin choke carb, geerbox wise type 9 works perfect and fits the original rs clutch plate, and mine bin running sweet 4 a year now other then cooking the head gasket i think these are loads better then a zetec 4 durabillity aswell., great car great idea great engine im subscribed

I haven't thought about it in great depth, something along the lines of mega squirt but then were talking big money... Scorpio have the same cams as the rs2000 as far as I'm aware...

What way have you got it running? How did u use the type 9 also?

Cheers
