Look's real tidy bud, nice find

Although, let's be honest, Ford never really got the hang of nice interiors in the 80's did they

went and collected the cossy kit from my old 3 door today and pushed it outside and fidded with a few things.

decided im going to paint it ford frozen white

also decided to keep the current interior but swap the seats for some dark grey recaros along with cossy 4x4 late type dash, cover the back seat, and change the steering wheel to a cossy item. the carpets and lower dash are in far too good of condition to take out

id say do that aswel, just clean the underneath up and keep it looking standard you dont see many standard 3 doors and it will certainly get some looks with a fast engine

i think standard 3 doors are horrible looking tbh, can understand it would be a good sleeper with a big engine but 99% of the world will still think it looks like a shitty old sierra

shell was terrible on the other one and would have needed alot spent on welding which i dont have atm

it looked perfect on the outside, would have looked clean next to a genuine cossy but its amazing what waxoil can hide

goin to strip everythign i can off it and send it to scrap probably

Hi mate, great find.
I have to ask though, Why??
I know you have said you don't like the look of a standard 3dr sierra, but there are No more left!
Everyone does the same thing to them. Stock cars or cossie reps.

Before you go mad and change something you cant change back, I would have a word with some of the Classic cars sales places.
If it was back to mint and standard you might in the near future be selling it and getting a sizable chunk of cash for it.
Look at the prices for mint, original 5drs.
Original 3dr sierras are not just rare anymore they are almost extinct.

Don't want to sound a downer on your excitement, I'm well chuffed for you.
But I'd give it a bit of thought and look up a few valuations before you turn it into another cossie rep.
Enjoy the resto either way
