Wow, amazing build, both in terms of design and execution! How does it handle the power?
where did you get that bellhousing and what did you do about clutch release? Hydraulic?
Do you have any more pics of the inlet manifold? Ive not seen the ford one before and the lower alloy part looks very useful!
Cheers

I love your work! You can't beat the sound of a turbo five pot and wrapped in a lightweight rwd shell it will be immense. Well done for being slightly insane.
Any videos?

bloody hell, thanks for all the replys
Im quite lucky, where i work we have a workshop and i have access to a lathe and mill, im normally a office boy so I actually made the adaptor plate at work, the bit of ally was about Ł80, and few lunch hours learning how to use the lathe
I was thinking about using the volvo t5 gearbox but the cosworth t5 can handle more power and it came up at a reasonable price.
The bellhousing is from a volvo 960 auto gearbox, and Im using a hydraulic clutch kit, the type that goes inside the bellhousing,
The car is still a long way off being finished, hoping towards the end of there year, will post the progress as i go but only get to spend weekends on it, once again thanks for the comments

knocked up some brackets and finished mounting the intercooler and rad,
spent the day in the garage mocking up part of the gearbox mount
also durin the week, well actually it took the whole week as i didnt realise stainless steel would take so long to cut, during my lunch hour i made the flange for the start of the downpipe. Just got to drill the holes
Also knocked out a gearstick

Small update, finished the gearbox crossmember, will post photos of the finished article up tonight. So finally started work on the exhaust downpipe last night. drilled the holes and started playing about with some bends. The bore size is 3" just got a few more bends to sort out to negotiate the steering column, then going to get it all tig welded up when im happy with it then will polish it up on the mop.
