It has covered about 1/2 a mile whilst here. Being pushed in & out the garage!!

Picked up the gearbox now with long ratios and new bearings and seals
And colour coded the back of the van

Other bits,
Omex 600 management custom loom with air injectors ect
Also having the car fully re wired by Daz c
Gearbox has longer ratios and the car is going to rev to 7250rpn now
Six paddle clutch
Bosch 10 bar rally spec fuel pump with swirl pot and lift pump

the extra rev's will help you a lot on the 1/4 mate .
spec sounds nice , just need the right turbo for it .
my car is getting there slowly , engine is off being built now so should be out next year

What compression ratio you gone for mate? And what have you done to your head what figures you expecting from it?

I found my 71 was a bit punchy tbh after fealing a mates gt30.76 its far more suted to a 2.0 zetec

How do you mean punchy mate?
Lee was saying the other day how he thought the gtx3071 was one of the best suited turbo,s for the zetec in his opinion.

Do use your van to tow your fiesta? Is it OK to do this?
I would like to use my Escort RS van to tow with but not sure it would be legal?

I have towed my fiesta to Santa pod twice there are rules but most police arnt aware of them the car your towing has to be taxed mot'd and insured and also broken down lol

You might get away with it. But what your pulling will massively outweigh the van so if the coppers didn't stop you. Then you'll end up with the tail wagging the dog.

clarkes wasn't a gtx, i used the same turbo holding 2BAR and it did come in quite harsh after the little lag.

ive got a brand new cnc ported head with my old springs. still in talks the the builder over valve and cam spec .
bottom end is built and balanced ,dont know what the cr is as i havent measured it yet but it will be in the 8's .
should see 420 -440hp max from my turbo but when it pops i want a gtx30
