good choice on engine mount, helps reduce the movement.
what is the turbo you're going for?
just gone gt30, animal, gt28 could be a good one upto 400bhp.

My plan is to build the engine first with the new rad and cooler setup new inlet and crack an 11second 1/4 mile then il be going gt28 or gt30 nitrous Crazycage inlet and strip out the weight I have a new gearbox so hopefully il be crossing the line in forth and launching in second!

What's the spec of your new turbo??

new turbo is a GT3071r, dual ball bearing, spools well and runs for a week after switching engine off (exaggerating a little)!!
it's a bit overkill, but a good price so went for it, it's from clarkes 415bhp @1.8/1.9 BAR mk2 fiesta, so well proven, just surging a little, i think boost controller needs gain pulling out or some mapping work.

depending on spec the cam may not be just an xr2i one, i have the phase one setup in mine and the exhaust cam isn't an oem one for sure, the inlet could be as there are no real markings just the lift/duration stamped on the ends.
either or, i didn't buy them new so not a big issue for me.

My cam is stamped in the middle of the cam with sport cam? Il pop a pick up tonight

So the area six sport cam is basically the same as using a 105 ps zetec cam from the 16v xr2i??? If so I'm gunna get my mate to stick one in the Orion and see what difference it makes

Its probably ground from a billet and is near enough xr2i duration spec.

Would never get away with re-badging OE spec stuff and selling them on as something else.

Are the 105 bhp XR2i cams the same as a 1.8 Escorts ?

There were rumours about that his low lag/response exhaust cam was a stock 115ps cam. Whether thats true or not I don't know
