Looking good mate!! Needs focus rs wheels in my opinion!!

Orrrrr you could try to source a complete german spec mark1 focus rs and get it into a container- USA bound!!

That would make alot of your local ford fans jealous

i <3 the rs wheels but they are WAY to large for the focus. 17" wheels are the way to go.
But yes a whole RS in the US would be amazing, there are a lot of guys doing replicas over here.

Thanks, they are on there because over here they are different, ive kept the car very oem and that is just a small touch most dont notice unless they know the focus well. I like small things like that, even though its a lot of work for such a small detail.

yeah, 18s are way to big though for the mk1 focus in my opinion :\ if they had them in 16 or 17" i would be all over them

I like the look of this. The standard bumpers makes the car look horrible.I think you have done a really good job on this now.

I liked the car before you put the side skirts on better though.

I like your ice install thats really neat.

Thanks, the audio stuff took forever, but now that its finally in im really happy with it! The skirts dont exactly line up with the rear bumper, ive thought of getting mudflaps for the rear to bring the look of the rear end down a bit, but i hated the way it looked without the skirts

Went to a nation wide focus meet this past weekend. Over 100+ cars showed up and i ended up walking away with 1st place in the "Hatch" category.
Here are a few photos from the event... nothing has really changed from last time except i got a european license plate to put on for show purposes.
Enjoy:

So summer is here and gone.
I decided i didnt like the rims i had on this summer, so i put them up for sale, figured if they sold it was nice but if not, oh well.....
These rims:

^^Last photo with them on.
Also the rims selling will help fund a winter project...

So, my last get together this year i put my old wheels back on and lowered the car another 1/2"..
Here is what it looks like when i put her away for the winter.

So thats where it stands for the winter... I will update this if/ when my winter projects for this car actually happen.

Ive been on the hunt for a proper set of rear bumper lights for a LHD car... looks like i might have found a set, so hopefully this winter the car will get proper lights for the rear along with the rest of the plans.

Yes they are stock svt wheels, but the car isnt being driven this winter (i have a jeep for that)... Looking for options for new "summer" wheels but for now i like the svts.

Ive tried ebay germany but wasnt having luck, not many people want to ship to the US... but i have a line of someone who has a set im hoping to grab.

Thanks, yes they are indicators in the front bumper.... and honestly, they are priceless.
the front bumper was a 2 year sports appearance package through ford... for the hatch the front bumper, rear bumper, and spoiler was a $3,00 option... and it has been discontinued... only way to get them now is used (like i did) and they are hard to find then...
Really a gem in the us focus world

There's one guy in some US Focus forum that runs 4x100 wheels and he actually runs some BBS's with some high stance factor....maybe that's the way to go and something you cannot live without

FRS are to big (wide and tall) for the us MK1 focus (in my opinion) they look great on the FRS but without the wide fenders they dont fit in my eyes... the old wheels were 8J and they rubbed a ton with how low i am... im looking for 17x7.5j (front) and 17x8j (rear) IDEALY... but im also looking at stock mk1 focus wheels from europe because they are different...

Really good looking car! Congrats

How did you manage to get all the interior plastic painted black? You painted also the sun visor? It looks really good, I must say.
That's something that I'd like to do on mine, but I'm afraid of the paint odor inside and if its gets pealed from the usage.

cheers from Portugal

ZX, you should try sourcing a set of OZ Mags or Escort Cosworth Monte Carlo wheels. Then get your car slammed on coilover suspension!!

I took all of the interior plastics out and used a spraypaint that was designed for plastics... did it years ago and its holding up great.
The sun visors i found some fabric ones out of an early focus and used fabric dye to get them black.
