yes the car was raced by scott.swapped it for a focus, goal is to TIME ATTACK it but think me and the car will be out classed..

been busy with the fuel system got a old bag tank fits in the spare wheel well.had a swirl pot made so half above boot floor and half below where all of the pumps are...

got some good news today my Quaife 7 1/2 diff was all
done so pick it up.

also got hold of a harvey gibbs culbman rally engine off ebay
200 block six long studs ported head etc.but dont know
which project to use it on this one or the mk4 escort cosworth
ideas ..

 

not done a track day in a age. So had to get on and do one.
only car i have close enough to finish is the sapphire,so started on that TODAY.got the fuel & brake pipes in.


mounted the extinguisher.

fitted a trackday wheel seam to have lost some castor!!

hope to be ready soon.still would like to try a TIME ATTACK round
but not sure yet..

What wheels are the black ones and look 18's ?

 

think there are compomotive th 8x17 but it is when scott was racing it .so could have been oz's not 18

 

started to get all the bits together but hit a problem

1. running 8 greens with level 6 ecu but the 4x4 wiring
that came with it not happy with
who can make me another one and how much..



or would i be better having it all swapped over to the p8 ecu
together with a wasted spark setup.. ..

 

as i still want a go at time attack next year. and no one but me will
build the car . got a few parts together..
dug a reconditioned 4x4 rack out i got done an age ago..

needs a good clean up but does have rose joints for the track
rod ends ,which is a +

also got some -6 ends for the rack so i can run a oil cooler..

fitted the passenger seat..

started on the fire wall for the boot.

picked up my first sponsor .

waiting on some more parts will update as and when they come..

i've just bought this shell, any info on its history, going to fully restore it and just after any info as it looks like its had a new front passenger wing at some point?
