Got a new alternator and all is good again, putting 14.08volts in at the battery now

Wrapped all the wires with heat shielding think might make a cover for the back to help protect it from the turbo heat, unless there available to buy seen one on ebay in carbon but it's £80
Next going to drop the oil and change the filter, and refit the cambelt cover

Before I book it in at motorsport developments thought it was time to change the fuel pump loom, as it was struggling to get 12volts at the pump.
After making a new loom and fitting it's now putting 12.6/12.7volts to the pump
Just shows how the wiring can make a difference

Also need to get some new boot struts as mine are shot won't hold the boot up with the 500 spoilers on

Think might have found the problem selecting gears the pedal ratchet won't adjust far enough think it's worn, ordered a new one from graham goode
And got the new boot struts fitted much better now holds the boot up no problem really strong, from SGS engineering there called nitro lift

And the clutch is going back to be checked over too hopefully that should sort it

shame on the clutch guess its not disengaging. Turn engine over on the starter and see if rear wheels turn.
