Do you get full boost as late as 5250RPM on a T34.48? I thought it should it would be much earlier on that size turbo.

Only reason I ask is I've recently put my cossie back on the road after 2 years which also has a T34.48 and I thought it seems to laggy but looking at your graph maybe not.

Started to make some new rear brake pipes think I'm gonna change all the pipes when I strip the underneath, so making them so there ready

Dropped the car in for a repaint tonight ready for fast ford hopefully all goes well

 

Took a trip up to the pInt shop today and he's well underway kits off and he's started prep work, took a few pics
He's just getting the tricky bits done first should be painting tomorrow

There's a few blemishes on it and a scratch so thought I'd get them done because it's on the fastford 30th anniversary stand at for fair so wanted it looking its best fela

 

Got the car back ready for ford fair and had it on the 30th anniversary stand was great seeing them all together some amazing cars

 

really wish I'd seen the sierra cossie stand at ford fair! You sound like a perfectionist, I thought it was mint before the re spray!

Replaced the plug to the brake reservoir lid as it was cracked, new plug and braided it too



Got a brake reservoir cover as well to fit just putting some edging rubber on to stop the edges rubbing on anything

And got the new boot struts fitted much better now holds the boot up no problem really strong, from SGS engineering there called nitro lift

si when you ordered these did you go to the next size up,ive measured my struts today and they don't tally up with your new strut.

If memory serves me right they where a couple of mm longer than standard, I went for the highest poundage they did in that size which is more than adequate. You can't let go of the boot lid when you open it takes it out of your hand almost.
Got the receipt somewhere will try find it bud.

 

RSty is road ready mate.just need to get it run in then mapped etc

Got family stuff , work etc and a family illness taking all my time at the moment

Hoping to get it to a few meets this year

Finally got round to changing the rear brake pipes all new ones made and flexes
Old ones a bit grubby

 

Family improving slowly as unfortunately my mother in law passed away a few weeks ago so no more illness to contend with just comfort our lass as when she needs,which often happens when not expected


Be nice to see RSty do more than sit in the garage matey

Been thinking of upgrading the front brakes for a while sorted fela got these
Brembo E38 calipers and Focus RS discs

Do these brakes fit behind 17" wheels? Seen some one selling similar on Ebay.

Yes very similar but don't have the stainless sliders that corrode sorted fela I've been told

 

The caliper fitting kit has arrived just need some time to fit them now

 

Trial fitted the new brakes got a few clearance issues
New and old disc



New setup fitted




Need to space the wheels out to clear the calipers and make some new brake pipes up too

 

Caprisport? His kits never bloody fit well

says on his website mnium 17" wheels may need 3-5mm spacers
ive got 18" wheels and need 20mm spacers
Anyway ordered some new stainless flexi pipes in blue and all the stuff I need to fit the kit, may need to trim the front splitter a bit its getting very tight for clearance

 

So the new stainless bleed nipples and the longer studs have arrived just waiting for a few more bits

 

Si, Please check those mounting bolts are high tensile. need to be same as std bolts or higher.
