what did you use to get the grain effect back onto the repaired cracks ? i might attack my 3 door dash but might need a mixer as there's so many cracks to fill

It's a special mix spray which is applied differently depending on what texture you require

im on the lookout for a dash to repair,im not taking mine back out until I have one repaired so can hopefully swap them out in the same day.
the guy that done mine mucked it up,i think its too far gone,i could have done a better job myself.
no issues fitting the brakes mate,i had some dust shields made to fit 300mm discs, can you retain the standard dust shields with the 300mm kit?

alot of people just leave the dust sheilds off it doesn't do any harm.

As I have my spare dash repaired and ready to fit I decided to make a cover to protect it from the sun at shows, made it out of grey vinyl top (close as I can get to original colour so doesn't stick out) and a soft fleece underside with a black edging
Came out ok I think

As the cars booked in at MSD in October for the L8 fitting with the antilag & launch control, going to change a few bits ready before it goes.
Got a new Bosch 044 pump & filter
IK 27`s
Cap & arm
Kevlar dump valve diaphragm

On the way to fordfair was the first time ive had a chance to really see the difference with the brake upgrade to the Brembos, made a big difference good upgrade mi thinks!

Very nice indeed Si,love the dash cover and the new brake set up, good work.I bet the brakes are a million miles better than standard set up.I have standards on my new sapp and it's damn scary at times.I would like this sort of set up, I was also looking at the e38 kits from Caprisport.

Nice Si, I just got a new Kevlar diaphram for mine, the diaphram removed was ok on mine but wanted to uprate it anyway to a proper diaphram.

Made a new stereo surround today using a spare piece of dash I had, because its a flip screen this is the only place it can go.
filled and smoothed off painted black think I am going to try and get a black surround instead of the grey one so it doesn't stand out as much
