Looking really good. What did you paint the rocker cover with? The twinky rocker covers are made from a kind of bakolite type stuff and are crap. It's hard keeping paint on them, you may find it flakes off or you start getting oil reidue coming through

The cloth is a nice interior surely, my last saph cossie had leather, never really liked it, a mint cloth recaro interior looks nicer, in my opinion. My td build is getting cloth aswell.
Your engine bay looks mint now, one tip i was told years ago, but never tried it, is soaking the fluid bottles/header tanks in bleach, supposed to bring them up very well and take the yellowness out of them, as i said i've never actually tried it, but it'd be worth experimenting on an old header tank or something, if it worked it'd really finish your engine bay off. Keep up the good work anyway

ok at long last i have an update, and you will be pleased to see whats been goin on this past while, my parts FINALLY arrived from burtonpower and i got my engine built up, i also got alot of the wiring sorted so nearly everything is working now after that i got almost all the interior back in, except a few door cards etc. and i painted the rs skirts, bootlid and spoiler, and got the brand new discs and pads in and bled up, then i decided it was time to set the engine in, got it near ready to go bar a few parts i needed, and once i got these parts i threw some petrol into her but no noise from fuel pump, checked the plugs were clipped in again and then put direct power to it to make sure it was ok, once i got this sorted and a few wee leaks, i tried to start it but the starter made no effort atal, bad starter as wiring was all good, i decided to get my dad to give me a wee tow as i was the able to get the oil up around her before firing, then when i decided it was right she fired straight up, never as pleased in my life now i just have a few we things to sort out with it and it should be good to take for a longer drive.
also in the middle of all tha (saturday night) i made my own custom stainless steel exhaust (pics below) it took me a good few hours but after hearing the noise i am soooo pleased with it
and just there now i took it for a short drive up the road and it didnt heat up which is good and it seems to be driving perfect, going into all gears perfect, brakes are lethal (rear p/s heating up though?), and feels to have nice power although i didnt really open it up as it was the first run, oh and it is really REALLY loud!
anyway here is a few pics of how she looks and some of the progress that ive been making
my custom made exhaust
well thats it up to date now anyway hope you like it lol

its stainless steel and 2 inch, i think it has a slight we bit more power with it on, id say if i went for normal exhaust pipe it woulda sounded like shite but to me it sounds pretty damm good. i dont think theres a loss in power but a rolling road would decide that lol

think its about time i updated this, since i was last on the car has been mot'd, and ive been driving it a bit, i think shes pretty much finished now except a few wee small things.
my plans with her now are to get alot of extra lock, coilovers as shes not solid enough, cossie seats and some other little things. after that she should be pretty much complete
i also have her on sharktooth rims now but no pics atm.
below is a few pics of her pretty much as she sits now..
and 1 question, which is better/more reliable, the BOA or BOB??
ill try to get some fresher pics soon

bit of an update here
been getting on really well with the sierra now, i now have the 2 wings off and battery tray drilled out, fuck its a boring job lol. also i was off on thursday so i decided to tidy up the engine, i wire wheeled all components(alt, pas pump, pipes, brackets, etc) and painted some silver and other bits that looked really shiny i gave a few coats of laquer pics of these will follow when i take pics lol. also i have the bootfloor almost ready for painting except removing the towbar bracket. and lastly i got myself something i really needed and now ill soon be ready to paint , but ill tell you what that is once i get pics
so heres just a few pics of the wings off.

How possible / difficult is it to replace the front inner arches and chassis legs ?
Well done for your project Keep it up
Cheers

Thanks, I'd say its definitely possible but there is a lot of work in it, and fitting the new ones has to be done perfect so that its as strong as before and so everything lines up and fits, don't think I'd do it tbh lol
