i think people should stop answering this childs questions and stop giving him advice as he is quite clearly a drip.

ive got a bad feeling that its not gonna be long till you crash it and completly fuck a mk2 shell because of you driving like a bellend trying to overtake people in your badaman 950. Its gonna be the wrong speed in the wrong place at the wrong time boyo

I dont drive dangerously, mostly just potter about in yes my 950 and if theres no cars behind just stay in second gear and cruise about after work n all day sunday, to overtake there has got to be a HUGE gap to even think about going for it.
This is my pride and joy, i really dont want to crash it

And i do listen to people advice and comments, things will change with this car for the best!

Why would that be and if the car offends you so much why keep fucking looking at it??

You seriously need to get a fucking life instead of sitting at home trying your hardest to be an internet bully it ain't big or clever!!

Now i have to say not everything on this car is to my tastes but the guy is young has bought what he can afford to insure and runs the car legally it. He hasn't gone out and robbed it or whatever and should he decide to sell it the new owner can easily change the seats sun strip or whatever you feel the need to be pissing and moaning about.

Wrong
i bought the Escort just before selling the mk2 for about Ł300 as i needed money for a toolbox, then swapped the Escort for a saxo then swapped that for a Puma then sold that then bought this mk2

Lol don't worry about it, I understand where your coming from, but the car would be cheaper to insure with less&better mods unless he's not gonna declare em. He's asked us for advice on mods, we gave him advice then he goes and does the opposite and costs himself more money,, almost like someone buying a cossie to rebuild, then puttin a pink spoiler on it

He's asking what to do for the brakes, which he'll eventually ignore too

Holy crap! This gets better and better.
I am surprised he didnt try to bond the calipers on for a break conversion now.
If he was the sperm that won thats a pretty weak gene pool.

My first car was a burgundy 950 pop, C635YPW I thrashed the arse off it, smashed it up twice, loved the thing, it used to do 98mph on the speedo valve bouncing like hell. I tried to find it a few months ago.. still on dvla database but defo dead.

Just re-read your old thread

https://passionford.com/forum/restor...apo-resto.html

Not read this one yet, but hope you've grown up and doing a good job on this MK2, Someone let me know if its worth reading through 22 pages of replies?

On a serious note how many cars you owned since being born?

Yep they bolt straight onto the hub. not sure what you mean about offset. the discs standard are 260mm so i think 14' alloys min are required. they come as caliper, bracket and pads.

Just checked. i wont need the caliper carrier bracket bolts, so will let you have them aswell. As im pretty sure the fiesta mounting bolts wont be long enough for the bigger caliper. These will fill the alloys nicely.

Sonny, ive just sent you a PM, regarding some calipers. check it out.

Also check out my Resto thread. shows im genuine and know my stuff. Doing everything myself in my garage with a help from a friend.

http://www.rsownersclub.co.uk/rsocbb...d.php?t=337192

But please paint these calipers black or use a wire wheel on an angle grinder and blast them back to the silverish colour they used to look like.

While your at it. get yourself some ST/ST goodridge brake flexi hoses.

brakes first, engine change later.

Oh and deffo get yourself a set of Recaros from an RS.

Default little update

Decided to take off the cherry bomb and put on a straight pipe to see how it would sound.

Now look at this beauty it sounds absolutely immense, its just a dead straight pipe from a pug 206, but it still has the original small silencer from the downpipe. 5 min job to change back over
it now gets even more looks as its very loud but in a good way, it crackles and pops in every gear so gonna keep this exhaust on for now and ive noticed that the acceleration has defo improved and engine seems much smoother

just a couple of fun window stickers and bought some new number plates aswell
