Fiesta Cosworth a few years later!

Just a quick update. The shell is fully welded now, and the bottom is done!! All prepped seam sealed stonechipped and painted! Got a few pictures off my phone. It's back on the floor now and the steering is also all hooked up. Going well! Next will be get the inside sealed and painted and then the bodywork.

Ok not a huge update but enjoy
Got some work done to the engine block bored out .5 honed and all cleaned up. Got 16 guides in the head all valves re seated etc. spec is
Newman double valve springs
Newman bd14 cams
Vernier pulleys
Forged pistons
Forged rods
Heavy duty bearings
Arp head stud kit
Arp main cap stud kit
Arp flywheel bolts
Arp con rod bolts
Full cometic gasket set and oil seals
High pressure oil pump
Kent cambelt and tensioner
7.1 compression ratio gt35 dual roller turbo still need to order a manifold and some other bits also the gearbox will be ordered soon

Ps rocker cover isn't done
Engine mock fitted into the bay to make sure everything fits! Will be removed for paint shortly

Your inspiration is to get in a mag like performance ford or fast ford,
There's been meny a times with my si (mouse from fiesta si) where I gave up as things were going slow but I ended up not being able to afford bits and bobs and changes in family situations as it was in a lock up for ages as well if I know that now I would have gave my self a mental kick up the bum to get if finished, sadly my baby will never get to ride in it and enjoy it as much as I did
Things change quick in life so enjoy it and the car on the road as you floor it and feel the acceleration and sound of the engine I know as if got the same engine in my mk6 fiesta van

its what the guy above said aswell tho... i do have bits to do on it. but its then not having the cash atm to finish them jobs! like yes i do want to change the colour "iv got a da dave" thanks tho. but then i cannot afford the paint.. so then it feels like why do all that prep to just leave it sitting again. same with the fuel system i have most of it but need a low pressure pump.. cant afford one atm. its so frustrating!
