nice sierra there mate. wish i could of had something like that for my first car. i still remember going out everynight doing a set of tyres in and fooling about in car parks and off road etc. hell im 29 and still doing it lol! driving something like this will give you great first hand experiance of rwd. my dad and his mates used to powerslide mk1 escorts and lotus cortinas round roundabouts back in the 70s so dont listen to all these lot moaning at you mate its always been done and always will be! as long as its not around busy roads! as for the insurance them companys are rip off merchants and would hardly insure a kid on a 1.1 clio. there the biggest con artists so fook em mate do what ya can to get insured because im telling you if everyone didnt try and get a good deal in life us working class wouldnt be able to afford fook all!

Barry, zetec conversion imo is not worth the money. The silver one is running 185hp i think and is standing him £1800, better of 2.9 v6 imo anyway and still a grand spare

need money for a zetec converted one, to do it properly anyway!
best engine for cheap is 24v imo, if youve got £2-3k to spend id yb it and make it a sleeper

Well, wee update, basically we've moved house bar a few things and the sierra, and over the bad weather period there the boiler fucked up  which we didnt realise as where only at the house every few days/week. Ended up anyway boiler froze and so did the car. Thankfully after only getting to work on her properly since that got her going bang of the key after me draining her the other day and filling her full of antifreeze, noticed it was leaking out through the thermostat housing so let her warm up slightly to see if the thermostat was stuck/froze. Anyway ended up taking it off to find this lol... atleast i know engines fine once this is replaced :thumb:

Well how ye gettin on now...
got the car moved the other nite there such a hanlin it was too lol..
anyway started progress again.. stripped rear interior completley as im sanding the boot floor and spraying it again. should have plenty of updates the next few days/weeks ill let the photo's do the talking.
Boot floor before work, not rust/rot except two small holes and some flaking, very dirty used a wire brush around the edge's and its mostly off now ready to start sanding
Underneath rear seats, no rust
Rear recaro's before steam clean... will have pics of them tomoro when there properly dryed.
Only bit of rust under the rear seats... d/s rear seatbelt mount. Paint starting to flake, now sanded back and ready for treatment.
Rough copy of Jacking Point cover DIY style lol... fits perfectly so just going to cut another two only be carefull and precise this time.
She's no dturbo bai
Cheers for looking, will most likely update tomoro again but might be working yet still unsure.
