Dangerous little rocket! failed its mot on silly things today

rear brakes not working properly
pierced petrol tank
corroded brake pipe
brake pipe not clipped in
just stupid stuff plan to throw it in the lockup for a couple of months until the better weather and re install some motivation! it just feels like this car has taken up a lot of time for me over the past couple of months and i cant be arsed with it just now!

why the sudden change of heart? a couple hours work and you could have those minor problems fixed. Seems a shame as you have come soo far with fitting the engine and all. The problem lys with taking it for another MOT in a few months, someone else may fail it on other things so you could be in the same boat again even if you did the repairs it needs just now. I would ask on here about the washer bottle, not sure size is a legal requirement

The place it went for its mot was quite picky! the waterbottle is sufficient enough to last a few weeks at a time so wasnt a problem in my eyes! its feb and the roads are shite! i cant remember the last dry day and i wont even use the car in this weather so see no rush! i want the car on the road for summer so i have plenty time! im away offshore saturday so ordering a fuel tank, getting it delivered, fitting it and sorting all the other niggles wont get done by then! If i take it for an mot nxt time and it fails on different stuff then il get it fixed lol
