Well had a spare few hours today so me and the mongtard chaffe set about doing the headgasket,fitting my new ap 4 paddle clutch,bolted on the gearbox and got it ready for picking up and fitting tomorrow! once thats in il fit everything and then its over to chaffe to wire up the megasquirt! should have it running by friday fingers crossed!

Was at it again today! got the driveshafts back in, alternator on and turbo fitted! also fitted my green stripe kit to the rear and fitted my rocker cover!

went to offer up the downpipe to turbo and because its a custom made hayward and scott exhaust system, the downpipe fouls the sump so im going to have to get that seen too! nothings easy lol

Sounds like you will have to enlist in some expert help to cut and re customize the custom exhaust mate. someone with a mig and a grinder

With the aid of 2 friends who know about wiring we cracked on today with wiring in the megasquirt ecu and fault finding with the cowboy wiring that some previous idiot had bodged and probably charged a few pennies to do!
Had a few issues with the lift pump not priming then when that was sorted the fuel pump packed in lol, knew i had to buy a new one so the old one was stripped down for inspection where we found bits of rubber jamming up the pump but apart from that she is ready to run so im a happy chappy! heres some pics and a small problem with where my filter will go lol

are you going to tidy up the wiring? looks a bit messy there lad, you should use insulating tape and go around the loom and as they start to split up you should branch off the tape as well. makes it all look neater. keep this up im liking this project what have you decided about the filter? smaller filter on order??

lol the wiring is like that to get the car started! There was a lot of fault finding due to shit previous wiring so it will be taped up when its all running! The filter will go in, ive just got to play about with boost pipes etc to get it in
