Been doing more bits to the car over christmas, nearly ready for the paintshop, just got to get some plates on the floor and sunroof recess sorted.
New fusebox tray welded in and some plate around the wiper bracket area as the old repair was a total bodge and was rotten throughout.
Couple of plates welded in floorpan where the original had gone through.
nearside arch repaired.
Filling and sanding some of the holes on the innerwing sections for a cleaner look.
Sunroof recess, quite bad inside here, going to scrape all the surface rust away and try and seal it somehow.
Repairing front crossmember
Hole in rear floorpan cut out ready for repair.
Rear inner arches are in good condition, just a small amount of rust behind the filler neck which i'm quite pleased about.
Also started cleaning the tank ready for some paint, bit of a mess atm hope its salvagable.
Hopefully have it all welded and sealed up by next weekend, thanks for looking.

Hi Cameron look's like you've got the new year of to a good start, mind you the area around the sunroof look's like it's going to be a pain to sort out but i reckon that old bloke that help's you should manage something. The fuel tank also look's as if it will be hard work as well i'm sure Dave will be able to rescue it.Keep up the good work i'm following this with interest and don't work him to hard
happy new year Chris

Right another update, all the welding is now finished, just got to go round tidying it all up now such as seam sealing and a bit more underseal etc. Its finally going to the bodyshop on Saturday.
Started off with the sunroof recess, after cleaning the metal down so we could weld on it, loads and loads of small holes appeared so the only option really was to plate it all up with some thick plate.
Just need to sand the welds down on it and ill seal it all up.
Underneath, all suspension parts will be going to the powdercoaters after the bodyshop as i want to keep it a rolling shell to make it easier for them.
And we've had to move into a new unit unfortunately its a little bit tight but we will just have to manage.
Hopefully the next update it'll be painted. thanks for looking.

More pics from today, my car is still in the old unit untill it goes to the body shop.
Started with some seam sealing, still more to do.
Then undersealed rear arches.
Removed sound deadening and cleaned off the glue, dont know why i didnt do this before we welded the floors really.
Then got the waxoyl out and smothered the sunroof recess inside, there really isnt much that can be done in here which is a shame really but we've done the best we can.
Thanks for looking

Thanks, no they havent been blasted, they were just sanded and sprayed with a rattle can by my brother, came out really well.
Been hitting problems, oil lights been on so took the engine out again checked over replaced knocking bearings with fresh ones and the light is still on so rather than mucking about with it im just going to slap the head on another built up bottom end i have.
Few pics, nothing major, sorry about the quality.
How it looked before i had to strip it again
Back end all built up
Engine out again!
Got my electric windows finally working after i realised i had the loom in the wrong way round so it wasn't connected to a power supply! This meant i could then get my dashboard back in and fit my gauges in the middle, little bit blurry as was on phone.
